I think you are taking the term witch too literally in this case. If you think about it another way there should already be at least 3 witches. Urara, alien girl and the Vice president (can't remember their names right now).
Guess another way to read the title could be: Yamada and the 7 companions (ie. that it's the people he is sharing his ability with and is in the supernaturals club.).

it is already a fantasy. 7 witches won't make much difference but it will be fun....

I don't want to spoil you guys anything, but if we're discussing witches, it's best to wait until chapter 20. There are some really good stuff about it in the span of the next 4 chapters

It could be his companions, or Yamada could be one of the "Witches" (Well.... Warlock) --- and Odagiri is another Witch. We'll see if this means the story is supposed to grow much larger, or if it will stay contained rather small. Theoretically, it would be we've only met two (or one if Yamada doesn't count) Witches, and we have a long ways to go to meet the other ones.

Maybe for each witch that Yamada kisses he'll get a different ability.
Assuming if thats the case... then we only met two witches so far (Urara and Nene)
In my opinion, I dont think yamada counts but it could still be a possibility that he does

I wonder what happens when he gets all seven witches? Does the manga just end since this isn't a fighting manga. Oh well thats a long ways away anyway.

The first chapter showed seven people on the title pages, including Yamada, Shirashi and Odagiri. I'm guessing they are the seven witches.

The thing that doesn't make sense though, is that Ushio and the Class Pres are in the montage. Yet didn't they prove that you can't double up powers -- and so since Ushio was Captive by Odagiri's kiss ... doesn't that mean he's not a Witch?

Well the title is Yamada and the Seven Witches so I'm assuming Yamada doesn't count as one of the seven eitherAssuming if thats the case... then we only met two witches so far (Urara and Nene)
