Do you guys think that beelzebub will have more views or ratings if it has some ecchi or will it degrade?

hmm, hard to say..

For one, I do believe it is a shonen manga so there are some younger audiences. Ecchi may not be too popular when a 12 year old is suddenly caught by their parents looking at boobs.

Yup, Agree don't mind ecchi or not, if the story is good. Basically i hate a manga to full of ecchi

i'd say BB wouldn't profit much if at all from it... i mean... it is funny as is and it's not like you get nothing... there covers and some panels in which you get some service... for an "ordinary" shounen manga that more than enough... i don't like it if it is overdone

no it would ruin the whole story.I mean can you imagine what ecchi scenes in that manga would be like 1.oga gets in the room where helga is undressing (accidentally) 2.helga realises oga and thinks he is either furuichi or a pervert. 3 helga beats the hells out of oga. 4.oga has fainted. 5. furuichi is jealous of oga.(or something like that)

well if they put only a few ecchi scenes it would do no harm but the whole story is about the typical relationship between oga and helga and about all of the characters finding furuichi a pervert so if there are ecchi scenes in the manga,it would make oga a pervert something we would hate or make furuichi more perverted

NO WAY! This is a a shounen so it'll never happen, but more ecchi would just alienate its current fanbase. People dont read this to see Hilda's boobs, they read it because its hilarious.

Ecchi would just ruin it. Think about it Oga is completely indifferent when it comes down stuff like that. So would Oga react to it? No, his curent personality is awesome as it is. If anything changes it would ruin the crude jokes Oga makes with his straight, unchanging face. No one want to see a pathetic Oga getting beat up and getting nosebleeds over a single glance of a half naked girl.

This manga as is, is a little border line; but it's still appropriate for all ages. I feel like adding a bit of ecchi would bring in readers. I don't really care about ecchi one way or another, but it would bring in the people who do. They would come for the ecchi, but stay for the rest.

Remember that we are using Shounen standards here, not American standards for a young demographic, since the two are significantly different for apparently pathetic reasons.

 

If Shounen holds manga that include Ecchi, as well as many others that include excess gore and violence, I don't understand why so many people are saying that having Ecchi in BB is impossible because BB is Shounen. That's entirely acceptable in Shounen. Not for America, but we aren't talking about our standards here.

 

Regardless, no, please no. I would not want to see epic fights and hilarious comedy in BB while an intensely emphasizing pair of tits are right around every panel corner. Just no, it's pathetic. BB is as good as it is.

 

But to the actual question, yes, they would get more fans. Perhaps not a significant more, but more. Because perverts would be all over Kuneida and especially Hilda.

Being honest here, I'd rather see how Oga does in the world of Ecchi than pussy faggots like Rito or Terumi or even Kenichi.

 

Don't get me wrong, Ecchi in BB is just stupid.

I definitely agree with this, actually. I wanna see some romance for sure. Nothing too blatant but some more forays into Oga and Helga's relationship. A little something to make me smile and be like: heh.
