Current Chapter Discussion

Aaaanyway, so. Did the newest chapter seem like a heartwarming scene where two characters struggled and learned about the power of friendship, or narmy weirdness where Youkai are just kind of screwing with the plot for fun?
I kinda thought that Nemata Youko got a really bad deal. She has to go to Hell, not hot hell, but apparently ice hell, and the only time she's allowed to the surface is to see her stalker, who then thinks about killing her (Again? How?) and then he brings up the fact that she knocked over a dummy. Then, while he's still thinking about his survival, and doing away with her, she forgives him and apologizes. Then the youkai show up, and its back to ice hell, no rest or reprieve or eternity. But hey, at least your stalker will continue to stay on earth, stalking women with a camera.
What did you guys think?

I'll try my best to summarize what's going on.
Spoilers, ahoy.
So Nonomiya is this kid who got blamed for knocking over and breaking an expensive anatomical model. The person who really knocked it over is Youko Nemata. Youko blames it on Nonomiya, and then says that her father would be very displeased if she got blamed. Her dad is apparently a big shot, i guess, because the teacher gets nervous and says that Nonomiya should apologize. While he's crying about it, the photography club comes up and essentially recruits him. Nonomiya then takes an ordinary camera around and photographs Youko all the time, stalking her. Nonomiya is trying to catch her doing something bad or scandalous, so he can have his revenge against Youko for framing him. Youko doesn't do anything bad, however, so Nonomiya has to take matters into his own hands. Instead of trying to catch her doing something bad, he takes a ridiculous amount of pictures of her and places them all over the school, in her locker, on the chalkboard, everywhere. Youko is contantly teased and belittled as the students mock her, draw pictures of her and laugh at her. Before Nonomiya could stop the situation, Youko hung herself and committed suicide in the classroom. Nonomiya wanted her to feel bad, but didn't want her to die. 'The Principal', the first Youkai, had eaten Youko's soul and consequently she was forgotten. Even the pictures that Nonomiya took of her obsessively had her image erased from them.As time went on, Nonomiya became good friends with the other members of the photo club, taking lots of normal pictures. Nonomiya then finds the 'haunted Polaroid camera' and takes a picture of the class. He finds Marie Moriyama in the class photo even though her existence was erased. It was Marie who became the 8th Youkai Mesomeso-san in the first story. He takes the photo to Marie's house, and her mom who had forgotten about her, remembers her existence. Nonomiya on his way home encounters The Principal, who wants to eat him. Higanbana, the 3rd Youkai, stands up to The Principal for Nonomiya. The Principal then leaves, and Nonomiya offers to take Higanbana to his house for hot chocolate. He asks Higanbana why she saved him, and Higanbana states that she saved him because she fufilled Marie Moriyama's wish of wanting to be remembered by her mother. Nonomiya shows Higanbana his photo album, and even though the pictures no longer show Nemata Youko in them, Higanbana can see her. She says that the only pictures that were interesting are the ones that were supposed to be of Nemata Youko, before she was erased. She says that Nonomiya must remeber what he did to Youko. Youko, who is in hell, comes to the surface presumably to harm/eat Nonomiya. Nonomiya freaks out and thinks at first that he has to kill Youko [Again.], but he tells her why he took all of those pictures of her; his feelings were hurt when she framed him. Nonomiya also says that he never meant for her to die, and apologizes. Youko regains her previous form and she says that she will forgive him if he forgives her. they agree and smile, now no longer enemies. Higanbana says that even though Youko forgives him, He is a fool to think he'd leave without being punished. Dun Dun Duhhh, cliffhanger.

Let me know what you think of my work, although I'm most likely not doing anything of the sort ever again
Btw if you had any doubts, chapter 17 is the final one for The Haunted Camera arc; the rest of volume 4, for which raws are available, contains the beginning of a new arc and presents a new youkai. Let's hope someone picks this project up again

They came out wonderful, thanks for all your hard work!
I know that the series is bieng dropped, but thanks for providing us with the work you did!
I hope you'll reconsider picking the series up again, if only as a reader when future issues come out when (if) they get translated.
Thanks for finishing up the story!
It's sooo...saddd.

The manga is doing rather well with the retelling of the stories. Getting to see what you have to imagine through the text is so delightful! It's sad what happened to Numata Youko, but at least she was able to become more at ease with his forgiveness. Although, I think I still like the way the Principal looks in the novel more.
Either way, hopefully they can keep going with this. There is some I'd really like to see in manga form.
