Suffice to say, there are many other works of this genre, the except all the other authors draw their girls as sluts.
This one remembers to add class. The drawings are also crystal clear and as other mangaka make their books dirty, this one feels, well ... clean.
Reading this is actually a unique experience thanks to the artwork.
Let me see what spring is like On a, Jupiter and Mars In other words, hold my hand In other words, baby, kiss me
Fill my heart with song And let me sing for ever more You are all I long for All I worship and adore In other words, please be true
In other words, I love you

Basically, instead of making this a guilty pleasure that has an amazing, gorgeous art of plenty and plenty and plenty of boob, we could just have this be everyone's 'out there' ecchi manga that both sexes enjoy if they just threw in a set of abs or a fit guy every now and then. then the protagonists can continue to be small-eyed sex-crazed japanese dorks that like to keep it in the family. Why not make it fun for everyone, when right now its just, well...now its just like a pregame show for hentai or that bookmark deliberately named something like 'Awesome Recipes.'

You make an excellent point, about making it mixed fan service. That would add a whole new dynamic to the series if there was another male to enter, maybe as an antagonist character. Since the story is suppose to follow the an old tale, I'm sure that he had a rival who will appear at some point who could be introduced as eye candy for us gals.

@Coma Culture: To sum it up, it's just another stereotypical mediocre ecchi manga with good art and shitty plot.
Yup, exactly. Its the most popular manga on Batoto though.
im just saying, if this is supposed to be a guilty secret, let it be everyone's guilty secret. Both sexes.
Ahh, maybe the artist will find a good author, or come up with a bettter premise in a different series, because the art sure is cool.

I'm surprised you think so poorly of the story. Of course everybody has a right to their opinion, but the fact of this manga being so much more popular (follows) than even the closest comparable title I would think speaks to that difference in numbers being the story. I mean there are plenty of extremely well drawn ecchi titles here, and most of them with a lot more skin than this one. The last I looked Minamoto had like 2,000 more people following it than Love-ru darkness (and it's got around 4,000 following it).........the difference I'd think is a real story with an engaging plot and characters. The story creates real interest in seeing what will happen next.Yup, exactly. Its the most popular manga on Batoto though.

Just because a lot of people follow it doesn't mean it's a good manga.
Again, me and Coma Culture was bashing about how shitty the plot is the and how bad the character's developments are.I mean there are plenty of extremely well drawn ecchi titles here, and most of them with a lot more skin than this one. The last I looked Minamoto had like 2,000 more people following it than Love-ru darkness (and it's got over 4,000 following it)
Sorry but "real story with an engaging plot and characters" just doesn't apply to this manga series. The plot is shitty, devoid of any sort of development for the characters. What this manga does is using cock-tease situations to draw in the readers. That's all it is.the difference I'd think is a real story with an engaging plot and characters. The story creates real interest in seeing what will happen next.

You´re making my stomach hurt, but I´m all in for things being subjective. Unless when it comes to objective things. Sex sells, the story here (IMO) suck, is just there to show more sex, the girl´s are sex objects, the end goal is for the weak ass rapist to have sex with them all, with all the sex objects. Did I mention sex?
Don´t mind me, I just use real porn/hentai/adult comic to take care of my buisness, so no I´m not here for the ecchi, just here to share my thought and see what everybody is thinking, what´s hot and what´s not. Enough rambling from me.

And you don't like the manga or at least don't agree with my opinion. That's fine, not a problem. However, I think you're being very short-sighted due to your personal feelings. "Good".........as in "just because a bunch of people follow it doesn't mean it's a "good" manga" is a very subjective term. I personally haven't ever read a page of One Piece........but I know because of its popularity that in SOME way it is indeed "good"......I don't have to personally like it to at least concede that point.Just because a lot of people follow it doesn't mean it's a good manga.

Haha!! Well I'm glad you found it amusing, there's nothing wrong with bringing a little more humor into the world. But I do stand by my opinion of the strength of the story, this is easily the strongest story of any ecchi / harem / comedy I've personally ever read (or at least tried to read)............and it's not by a small margin either. My opinion. You´re making my stomach hurt, but I´m all in for things being subjective. Unless when it comes to objective things. And of course sex sells, that's human nature the world around. I make no pretense that this isn't a racy title, because it is, obviously.
And what exactly are you trying to imply with this "take care of your business" thing? Spell it out for me, I really want to hear something specific other than this vague, condescending sounding allusion you're making.

I fail to see how the plot does all the things you are talking about. Rather than the story i think the severe lack of a full-fledged chapters is what makes ppl wanna read more. Though that also disrupts what little is there left to the story , but its quality isnt that high to begin with. All i see from the series as far as story goes is "The guide to making a harem , but done in so many parts , so that you can just fap at the girls and not make an actual harem"I'm surprised you think so poorly of the story. I especially liked how the characters deviated from established genre cliches. The male occasionally pushes out to take the lead, but in an understandable way, not a pathetic one. The girls aren't brainless, ditzy trophies of warm motherly affection or cold mysterious blizzards of classic tsundere mental disorder, but deviate between a lot of complex things.
I read through other popular ecchi offerings, like to-love ru or Sekirei, thinking to myself the entire time "could have been interesting if the author knew how to write girls with two brain cells to rub together." Lost interest quite rapidly. Minamoto kept my interest quite well, though.
