Same here, have some read manga on new...

Have about 40% of my manga marked as new, when they are not new.

In "My Follows" list I'm getting some chapters labelled "new" even when it's the "Last Read" chapter listed for that manga. A good 30% of the followed titles in my list exhibit this mislabelling.

Cant be since manga which I havent read for a few weeks now and havent been updated in any other language are starting to show as new. Also as soon as you read a chapter, it is still listed as new in the follow list.

As of now trick to reopen two last chapters is not working ("Magician" and "The God of High School")

The "read old chapters" trick should work for titles that are erroneously marked "new" (ie, titles that are complete) but not for new updates in the past 4-5 days.
Correction: updates in the last day or so.

More like updates with a delay will still be listed as new (after delay and read) and have to be re-opened 24+ hours after delay has finished. Updates without delay clear "new" status without bugs.

Gendalph: Updates without delay did not clear new status when read yesterday afternoon. Examples include Sangokushi v32c201 and Sunabozu v6c32. Updates without delay did clear new status today upon reading 24+ hours after update (Sangokushi). Updates without delay cleared new status today using the read previous chapter trick less than 24+ hours from update (Sunabozu).

Thanks, this worked. Also, the options for the follows list is nice.

Magician came out 18 hrs ago, got unmarked without any problems and reopening previous chapter.
ToG (1 hr) still marked as new after reading.

Looks like status gets updated only if chapter came out yesterday or even before that, or at least 12 hrs have passed.
