Apparently this is going to become an anime really soon. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-11-14/date-a-live-light-novels-have-anime-in-the-works. I'm just trying to bring people back to this manga, because apparently there are going to be three volumes out, and yet there is only one chapter translated. It would be awesome if some translating group could pick this up, as it seems to have amazing potential.

What? This get's an anime? In all honesty this show is bad, really bad compared to a great many other manga out there. The protagonist seems completly detached from the world he lives in and without any kind of character whatsoever. His sister is an unlikeable jerk who seems to be hated by most people and the story is an absolute mess.

Must be one of the low budget ones they produce to fill up air time with cheap stuff.

the anime will be airing 5 april 2013 (30 march on nico nico douga)
the studio AIC PLUS+ (Asobi ni Iku yo, Nekogami Yaoyorozu, Nana to Kaoru) will be the one making it

wait and see as always... (the story can be quite good and the arts seems true to the manga version not like the crappy visuals for maoyou yuusha...)

It's still sad that the manga was ended so abruptly due to the author health, I really like the scenario of making it into a dating simulation.

Volume 8 just came out, but good luck waiting at baka-tsuki for the translation, only the first three volumes are fully translated

If you wanna download the episodes, I recommend using the Youtube downloader from dvdvideosoft.
Just paste the youtube link and you can download ANY videos. If you DON'T accelerate the download, video and sound won't get out of sync either

 

Important note:
What you do with the downloader/mp3 converter is your problem.
Legally speaking you can use it, but you are not allowed to sell the downloaded videos/songs (like scanlation, this is in a legal greyzone)
Since youtube deletes videos that violate copyright (most of the time they do it) you can assume that videos that aren't deleted should be safe. Although some people simply mirror the videos to (temporarily) fool the detection.

==>Download songs and videos from YT like that for your own use is (mostly) legal, but don't sell them for money
Oh, and don't forget that this way of handling it is how it is handled here in AUSTRIA!!! I don't know how strict they handle it in the US or somewhere else

Still, the "fight" Tohka and Orogami vs. Kurumi was... well, SHORT and it won't get any longer either because in episode 9's cliffhanger Kotori already appeared to save the day and call in the finale of the anime (dammit, it was waaayyy too short)

Hmm, after the season 2 of the anime they announced a Date a Live movie...

I am not sure, but I guess it will be about the Natsumi arc.

 

After that...

Well, I hope they make a third season with the "Tobiichi Angel" arc.

This arc provides many answers about wtf happened in that fire 5 years before the events and volume 11 will probably explain why Shidou has the power to seal spirits. Volume 10 already explained how and why Origami's parents actually died and also the identity of the one who killed Origami's parents

She was the one who killed her parents, they ended up as collateral damage when she tried to kill "Phantom"

It was at this moment she knew- she fucked up
