It's sooo hard to find a site where I can donwload the rest of the chapters in english. I only found viet and malay scanlations. So, why is there a halt in english scanlating Fung Wan? I mean, it's so popular in Hong Kong that they even allowed english pulications for the title..it's just so weird.

It may be because the manga can be bought from amazon and that the reason, not to mention it may be hard to translate it and there aren't many translators, even the wiki page was changed for some reason. I remember reading allot of spoilers there but it was removed and has only japanise arc.

i know it is really hard to translate mandarin to english, but the now defunct ComicsOne published several of its volumes in English..still none uploaded the translated versions (except for malay and viet...they are sooo up-to-date). Im planning to purchase the english copies starting from invading sun vol.3 (chapter 16) where the last batch of scanlations left off...anyone wanna help me on this? It's sooo hard to find all of them, besides the fact that shipping bills would most likely kill my funds first( minimum of USD9.xx from the US).Once I get my hands on those copies and scanned them,I will exclusively post a link on this forum..so I need hands on this!

I found this group of chinese scanlators in the group list. Is there a way we can contact them and ask them to scanlate fung wan?

Don't know, you should try it.
About the amazon, you can buy it from europe amazon.
Not allot of people want to try to translate this manga, it not because they don't have the raw is mostly that the language is to hard and they don't want to trouble themselves whit it especially since there is publish in english not like other manga that need translaters.

I already have some of the volumes in english to be shipped to within a week or so. They're not from amazon though, and I had them cheap, like USD2.00 at least. The shipping price killed my budget though. Im doing my best to get all of them, but some of the volumes are utterly rare already.Doing some research, I read that Dr Master took over ComicsOne (the english publisher of Fung Wan) in 2005, and discontinued the manhwa and manhua publications [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ComicsOne ]. Later that year, ComicsOne " just disappeared". [ http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/6632.html ] With the english translation halted, how would scanlating the rest of the volumes be prohibited? That's just a bit unfair...only the viets and malays get to enjoy up-to-date reading besides the mandarin-literate fans.
