I was just wondering why banquet box had no discussion thread. the other manwhas and webtoons seem to have one.

I know that banquet box has just two pages and not too much happened in a single chapter yet, but the plot is really intriguing. I really want to know what they did to deserve such a treatment.

But still I wanted to know what u guys and ladies think of BB so far. And maybe some have read the raws, if there are any that is.

now that BB has conformed ;), I wonder what possessed them to do a whole chapter on toileting etiquette in the box before anything had really happened.

XD I was wondering about that one, too. It made the story a bit more authentic, but to waste a whole chapter on it ... maybe its because the chapters in BB are too short.

from memory, I think they said they only had one plastic bag.
And that's for the pooping as we now know.
But seeing as they've been planning to somehow capture water when it rains, if they get thirsty enough they'll have to stop using their resources for luxuries such as "poop OUTSIDE the box" and focus on catching water o_O

Thanks Bexo for creating this topic... I feel that I  have failed my project by not doing so myself /sigh...

Nonetheless, I hope that Hun is able to keep the suspense going... it makes me curious as to what our cast has done to deserve a 'vacation' in a metal box.  I like how the current story is progressing, it leaves a lot to the imagination while allowing us to get to know the cast and see them as human... capable of mistakes and of course having the requirements that you or I have.  Which in the long run will encourage our empathy.

Why did Hun dedicate the good part of a chapter to toilet etiquette?  My thought is, besides the humanizing of the characters... it was to allow for a moment of humor after the 'seriousness' up to that point.  Hell, they awoke to find themselves locked in a box with their high school alumni, no provisions, supplies and the basest of accommodations, then tasked with something that most, except for Sleepy (don't know his name yet, and "the pony-tailed guy" just sounded lame) have no idea about...

Remember...

Remember what?  And why would it rain help them remember what they are there to admit to?

Of course if I had those answers now, that would ruin the plot... so meh...  I'm hoping that the next chapter will include either an interrogation or some butt-kicking, a la Sleepy.

but I do think the toilet etiquette chap was too soon. We barely know the characters at all, but then I suppose there's nothing else in there for them to do except to freak out about how they're going to the toilet, which is why I fear for the future. =-= make good on your idea author-man.

I had my suspicions about the glassless guy from the very beginning. Mainly because he was the only one injured while all the other characters were fine, as for why, I think the author will explain why later on in the story.

And also I know that it may sound silly but if you pay attention to the color of his shirt, as well as the length of the sleeves, here and here, you could say that they are the same shirt, but than again this a comic after all, art can be similar from one page to the other.

As I kept on reading I sort of let that thought go, but after the latest chapter I was a little disappointed that I guessed right. And as of now I wonder why would he enclose himself with the others. I understand that he may want to witness firsthand how, slowly but surely, they all lose their minds. But will he be able to keep his identity a secret from the others, and if so, for how long?

Eventhough it's been 3 weeks since the last release, this series is really getting good! Also, I don't quite agree with the previous comments on the toilet chapter. I think it set the scene nicely and gave the manwha a bit of a body before rushing into the story.

I wonder how the story continues though.. I mean, since the kidnapper is enclosed with the others and two of them now know who he is, shouldn't that conclude the story? They threaten him, they get out and they all live happily ever after? I'm sure he's got some sort of plan though..

Can't wait for the next chapter!

If there is one thing consistent about all the mysteries [i've read, at least] in Asia, and those new mysteries that are just now coming out in the states, it is the unreliable narrator. I dont believe for a second that glasses guy is really the student who got bullied, and even if he is, i doubt he's the one who is holding them up in there. Just because he had tape recorders for most situations doesn't mean he's acting alone, and the only thing i trust is that Pony-tailed guy's first awakening outburst and the fact that he complied with not moving off of a spot which had wire relays. If he is an accomplice, wouldn't he recognize 'Laborer' all along? the 'bullied boy' really only explains the rich boy, and to some extent, maybe the military guy. But the relationship between the military guy and 'Laborer' is suspect all along. First, there doesn't seem to be a set motivation, and in the sequence where we learn about The things 'Laborer' supposedly studied in the past, is that not only is he not someone Laborer openly hates, but he is a veteran of mysteries - the exact sequence he's put in. The 'Bullied Boy' seems to relish in repaying the arrogant 'Rich guy's' past humiliation but he views the Military guy with some humanity, before reassuring himself that he isn't a good person. To me, this sounds more like someone you meet and have heard about from someone who felt victimized by this person. Just like there are five (four, now?) of them, i don't think one persons experience amounts to the reasons they are in there.

It could just be me reading from an iPad, but ch 21 seems a little fuzzy. Does anyone else have this problem?

Reading this reminds me of Saw. Why is that?

I'm thinking that there's also another person working on this banquet box. From that panel where there was a sketch of the containers, I kind of had the impression that there was more than one person there looking at it.
