I'm getting increasingly irritated at Ako and Jiu as I read on. They keep talking about having to change Mao back, that it's not right, and so on and so forth. It just... comes across as incredibly selfish. Mao seems perfectly content in her new body, she even seems happy being as she is. There doesn't seem to be any read need to change her back, especially when she herself hasn't mentioned that she wants to.
Now, in the latest chapter we got some insight into Mao. That she doesn't really seem to think it's worth fighting. Exactly what this means in her being content or not I don't know, I can only talk about how things seem, but Ako and Jiu were talking about changing her back even before asking her!
Jiu's motives I don't know, he might just be worried for his friend, which I can understand, especially when he seems so protective. But Ako... She's in love with Mao, and it seems like that's the reason she wants to change Mao back. That is just... so incredibly selfish. If she's happy, let her stay that way. If she's not, then try to find a way to change her back. But ask. She never displayed anything but contentment to Ako, so Ako's pretty much motivated completely by selfish means.
Am I the only one who's thinking this? If somebody can come up with another explanation I'd love to hear it.
Strikes me as kinda odd

Ako may be thinking that Mao is faking contentment for the sake of appearances and may try to persuade Mao over. Additionally the village elder hinted that what Mao did may be the true form of the sacrifice where a male sacrifices their gender. The storyline seems very interesting and hopefully I have ch 8 up before long.
