I was always fascinated with Van Gogh.
Especially when my dad let me listen to Vincent by Don McLean.
I never took art history and it wasn't required, so I don't know much about paintings.
As ubiquitous as Starry Night is, I guess I can say it's my favorite.
I love the colors and texture, and how it looks like it's alive.
It looks like you can extend your arms and reach the stars.
And Van Gogh's style is really different.
I would describe it like surreal and distorted, yet almost solid.
It's like looking at things in water, perhaps tears. Haha. That's how I see it.

For digital artworks, I always go to zerochan (since I don't know japanese, I can't browse pixiv ;__; )

You obviously have absolutely no idea whatsoever of what constitutes art, but since you aren't even capable of expressing yourself in complete sentences, you blather about pretentiousness, and in trying to prove your imagined superiority, you only succeed in showcasing your small-mindedness and ignorance.

But please explain what "constitutes art" to me!
It's not limited to what you think of as art, I can say that much, but I'm not interested in trying to educate you, and as you have access to the web, I suggest you take matters into your own hands.
Having said that, I'd like to stop derailing this thread from its intended purpose, namely to share ones favourite works of art.
