And I think that's the difference between Vinland Saga and Vagabond, whereas in Vinland Saga Thorfinn didn't seem to do much but react to the actions of the other people around him: Agneis, the bandits, etc. in Vagabond its all focused on Takezo(Musashi) and his character is just so good I don't even mind what he does as long as we get to see his thought process.

he was not only a swordsman but well versed in a lot of things, so this harvest moon like arc makes not only sense but is necessary.

Never would I have thought I could enjoy an arc revolving about farming.
Also, anyone mind telling me if this is a weekly release, bi-weekly or the dreaded monthly release. >_>

I'm also enjoying this side of Takezo. People who complain for more fighting or less need a manga that is all action. You have to appreciate what is gained from each part of his journey to get a whole picture. Just like it requires both Ups and Downs get a whole roller coaster.
Finally caught up.

Well it use to be frequent, but this last one took a month. Hopefully all is well with the translators and it will pick up.

I think this farming arc is integral to the development of Takezo and shows his growth through his thought process. I like this arc just as much as I like the other ones. Despite a lack of fighting, I thoroughly enjoyed the different side of Takezo that this arc highlights.

That arc in Vinland Saga was amazing! Especially when Thorfinn met Canute. At the end of farming saga in Vagabond made me cry so hard....
