At first I was like, oh it's a funny shoujo: the "vicino diavoletto", the talking bird, the kiss
but got so attached to Kira and Nino ! especially when he stood up for her.
"don't say "die" so lightly" kyaaa~ cool man !

I know it says ongoing, but the ending seemed pretty definite...

I was on the verge or tears too! But it wasn't until Kira started crying as he repeatedly cried " I don't want to die! I don't want to die!" that I started to tear up.

i was about to cry too, nino and kira are awesome, i fell in love with this manga i don't want it to end up tragically

Oh man it is kind of sad to start the manga with a sad feeling of an incoming death!!

I wish I could cry easily for manga. This manga certainly deserves it, it's really beautiful.
The timeless idea, don't let life pass you by, presented in a somewhat comical way that kinda helps with the incredibly pure heroine..

Er. personally, I'd just like point out that she makes me want to buy crocs in chapter 3.

I teared up in several spots, and they keep hitting me in the feels.  Although Kira's situation sucks, I think it's amazing how he's learned to find joy in the simplest things in life.  I find myself doing that with babies.  Every smile just makes you feel like you got hit by the blessings-bus.
