I am going to bet Ninurta is the real son of Nyx......

 

being it is prophesized that Nyx only has one son.......

 

Xi probably has the royal blood due to his heart was iriginally Siana's in the 1st place...

 

And from the recent chapter after the fb between Xi and Siona                     for some reason... it look like we has child-swap or something...... Siona seem to look more like the daughter of Serin, with all the hocus pocus and how the memory of her mother teaching her necromancy...... while Xi feel a whole lot like a son of a member of the night-clan...... Siona's grandma is probably Xi's real grandma.....

 

being wanted and all..... i think Serin come to Xi's village and bein mistaken by the grandma as her daughter (i am pretty sure the grandma has poor eyesight as well as hearing from the fb). She probably found Serin wounded and unconcious, not to mention pregnant and bring her home with her. Due to old age , she probably mutter out of her real daughter, talking as if she is the real mother to Siana, or she consider Serin as her daughter and feel dissapointed/depressed/sad when Serin left..........

 

Pretty much Nyx children are:

1-Siana

2-Ninurta, i think Serin's betrayal lead to Nyx's 2nd marriage..... i dun think the dragon guy would comply with the queen's wishes...... plus it would be awesome if in the future Ninurta can use dark ice, fufufufufufu.........and Just pass the seal test using Ninurta's blood after all.....

3-Miya

 

if Xi is really Nyx's son.......Siana's necromancy doesn't make sense coz isn't only the demon-clan can use them, right?

 

as well as why Xi can fully use the 9 art of the Serpent-clan, which Nyx himself can only use up  to 8.... Xi is undoubtly a person of the Serpent-clan.....

 

Which raised another question, who really is Xi???

For some reasn i think Calladblog and the night-clan is a good guy but somehow contaminted..... a reason i can think of why Xi killed Siana...... for he actually was contaminted but when he took Siana's heart he become immune and regain sanity as he lose consiousness..... why he took Siana's heart? because Xi was under influence of contamintion, seek Siana's blood source (her heart) to (forced) the full resurrection contract.

For those who think Miya is Serin's daughter....... how can she conceived her in the 1st place while being sealed all these time?

Though the forum section appears rather dead - you still update with chapters when able, and for that I wanted to say thanks!

 

I honestly didn't care too* much for the first half of this entire manga, but the whole of the second half has been quite entertaining to read, largely because whether flawed or just cleverly hidden...you really can get lost in what’s going on and who to root for.  And it makes it a fresh and enjoyable read.  Tragically it doesn't appear to be translated by many manga sites, so again, thank you for being that selfless hero that puts forth his/her free time to translate these pages for arguably no gain outside of just being a really cool person!

Slowly but surely CotA is being resuscitated, by not one but two groups. MangaCow recently finished a donation drive for CotA so hopefully it'll continue to rain updates for the next few weeks. I'm very excited.


After the rather slow Serpent saga the story is finally making serious progress back at Merkava. Unfortunately, just when I thought Xix was actually becoming a decent character, hardly a day after returning from Serpent he runs crying to Oksi to save yet another girl, while also unleashing yet another one of his signature tirades about getting revenge on Regis Nex. It's almost comical how he switches between pleading with Oski to raging at everyone for even suggesting he was related to Nex.

Meanwhile, my still favorite youth Ninurta can't catch a break. Between saving a little girl and his mother he's now critically wounded on top of that. And then there's Caladbolg, who's coming to crash the party, and Oski, who's trying to destroy Nirvana embedded inside Siana's fake body to prevent the Night from invading. Very soon Chaos is going to live up to its name in an epic way.

And once again, the issue of Xix's lineage is brought to the forefront, with the return of Navarus many details are coming to light, but I am still not fully convinced that Xix is Nex's son. 100% certain that he is Serin's son, and Siana's brother, but his ties to Nex are far from transparent.

Until unequivocally proven otherwise I'm sticking with my main man Ninurta as the one true son of Regis Nex, while Xix is probably Caladbolg's son. I think that somehow, somewhere, Caladbolg managed to get Serin to bear his child, which was the act of betrayal that resulted in her imprisonment. It may also be why Caladbolg was requesting that Serin be released during his meeting with Nex many chapters ago. Since Caladbolg is Nex's brother it would mean Xix is Nex's nephew and therefore Xix would also have royal blood. His relation to Caladbolg may also explain how Xix was able to break Caladbolg's barrier despite how not even Depore was able to damage it even a little, though there could be other reasons for this.
