Where do things go when they're lost?

Sometimes you misplace things and find them later on. Other times, you lose something forever. It just vanishes into thin air. You never find it again. And you'll always wonder where it went, and never know for the rest of your life.
That thing has officially been transported a place where all lost things go. There's just a big pile of random pens and accessories out there.

I have a feeling I read something like that, likely by Terry Pratchett or some other funnyman, that there's some sort of alternate dimension where everything lost ends up. Particularly odd socks and the like.

Nope, not yet. Ghibli movies are dropping in quality these days. Maybe it's cuz of the new directors.
OnTopic: Have you ever tried looking in your "friends'" stuff?
