Subscriptions and Dilemma

Okay... so the subscription was setup successfully, but quite frankly, I hate it.
I wanted donation amount / value to be smaller. Like $1/month.
- Problem paypal then takes like half in fees. (I don't have microtransaction account and time consuming to open one. Takes like a week~2weeks just to fully verify. Though, I suppose their new fee model beats their old one where they'd make more than I do...)
I wanted flexible donation amount. So the user can choose how much (Eg. donate $10 or $100 or w/e you want)
- Problem: Subscription plugin doesn't allow that.
I wanted the combination of the above so that if they donate more, their subscription lasts longer. (Eg: donate $10, lasts 10 months)
- Problem: Again, no feature
I didn't want auto-subscription (people then need to cancel out of a donation)
- Problem: Ditto...
I don't want / don't have time to make one from scratch.
This doesn't look like donations at all!!!!!!! Looks like we're selling something when we sell nothing.
So, right now, I'm stuck with a stupid $2/month auto subscribing crap.
Anyone see solutions?

Start a donation pool directly into your account? (im not sure if it takes verifying)
https://merchant.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=merchant/donations
the rates arent bad?

Subscription files under goods/services automatically, so it doesn't get the privileged donation rates. lol
Direct donation pool = me auto approve and add/remove everyone manually in a timely manner. Completely non-feasible.

Ask or check out EGS easygoingscans donation thingy?
The amount is flexible although they still have the auto subscription thing on.
I removed the auto for theirs even though I'm keeping Batoto's, mainly because I have to monitor my spending.
$2 per month beats $5 per month.

Actually, I'd want another option too:
a one time donation thing where people can specify an amount. I hate subscriptions... they're a pain to keep track of.

For pony!!!
Miseng is supposedly the Prince of Zahard and thus, a trap. SIU, you've completely outdone yourself this time.
And I'm very sorry, I just rarely accept friend requests these days. I don't really do Facebook friend requests. Maybe next time.
------------------
Even though I like TOG, I have no favourite characters. There are only characters I get attached to, for the moment and some traits I adore, just for a while. In the same way, there is no character I hate or dislike. I may get annoyed, angry and so on, for a while.

You could try to contact the person who made the plugin. I think he wanted to make changes for IPB 3.3 anyway.
To be honest I don't like the fees that paypal and other sites charge. Perentage wise
Right now the only things I can come up with are things that require you to do some programming or are leaning towards manual work.
For example something like this: Add an option for moderators to see who who donated how much, in the moderation panel (could be simply a list) and give them an option to promote/demote just for the specific class "Donator".

How about Donation Tracker addon? It's paid, but only 30$ for year and has sweet features. And most important — it's looks like donation.
Paypal fee for micropayments is lower one, like 15 cents per 2 dollars so it's definitely worth to wait.

Yeah, I was thinking that too, spend more money to get questionable amount of money. lol $35 + 19/yr ...How about Donation Tracker addon? It's paid, but only 30$ for year and has sweet features. And most important — it's looks like donation.

It still doesn't have the X dollar div value/month term subscription. (ex $10 = 10 months)
But I think that's looking to be the only worthy time-wise-realistic one.

Compared to 700$ monthly bill for the server it's nothing...
Oh, I didn't notice it earlier, but it has a custom amount feature:
Setup fixed donation amounts a member can donate or let the member choose the amount. This includes a minimum donation amount allowed.
Although I suggest to accept big amount through standard fee. Starting from about 20 dollars micropayments fee is ripping off.
Isn't this something you're looking for? It says: you can either promote for a set amount of days for the donation or days for every dollar donated. It still doesn't have the X dollar div value/month term subscription. (ex $10 = 10 months)

You can use this format, then make a donate/buy now button and subscribe for renew ones, then just change custom image for both and you can then enter a fixed/custom amount using the ones without renew, and the ones who want renew can choose the other option subscription, they will look like the same but be different codes I guess

I've bought the donation tracker thing. Guess I'll install it when I can.
