"Cyborg Kuro-chan", "Kyoryu Bokenki Jura Tripper", or "Now and Then, Here and There". Can't remember which was first.
The anime that first made impacts on me were ".hack//sign" and "Kino no Tabi", though.
I started readin' manga much later, but I can't recall which got me started. Ayashi no Ceres comes to mind.
