Spoiler

Ahhhh.........I guess with the new chapter we get some context for that image..........an image from his  dream then,  I guess. Nitori has some pretty erotic thoughts, eh?

Wow, lots of action in those two chapters...........so I guess that kind of closes the books on Tatsuki, in a couple of ways.

No, I'm under the belief that Nitori and Takatsuki will end up together.

Right now, these two are going through their teenage years; years full of confusion and sexual curiosity. I'm sure we will see more development and assurance of their own selves once they reach adulthood.

you know, I was  a lot more inclined to say that there was still a chance...........until I reflected a little more on her and Sarashina's conversation. To me that really sounded like Takatsuki was closing the book on her feelings just like Sarashina did.

Not to mention that I thought both of the most recent chapters reinforced the image of Nitori as only thinking of Takatsuki as little more than an acquaintance now............in particular the chance encounter in the cafe along with Ariga-kun. Heck, given the time that's passed story-wise, they've hardly interacted at all for a number of years now (that we've actually been shown).   But yeah, just my impressions, only time will tell.

and that's the end of it...........kind of a "life goes on"  ending. Oh well, how else to end a story like this, Nitori goes on with his life along with everyone else, some with regrets and some looking more to the future. A very good ending overall I thought.

Good ending, but AARRGGHH. It's one of those good but ambiguous endings! I love them and hate them so much!

Ambiguous as in, I want to know what happens to them, not which direction they'd head in. Man, I didn't expect to like this series so much.

for me this series has the problem that the other series of this author have, she just puts in too many characters. I didn´t really like the ending, I don´t feel like the author made a point about girls wanting to be boys or boys wanting to be girls.

I mean do you really think the parents would just accept it? there should have been an arc about how the parents think about it and what they do to prevent or help their children in achieving their goal.

some characters have also just been in the story to just cause a problem and then we never heard of them or we just get like a sentence about them.

yeah, I don't know about any other titles besides this one and Aoi Hana, but yeah, totally agreed, the method/style.........just how the author has told the story (yeah, with all the many, many side characters is a part of it), has really been unique to me.

Her continuous shifting of the focus, chronologically and from the aspect of characters and point of view, in both works made it somewhat of a challenge to read and keep up with. Both great, but definitely "big picture" type works that could easily make a reader say "who the heck is that and what's going on here?" pretty easily if they focused too much on the "main characters" isolated portions.

But that's just the impression I've had about it.

So, a new project by the author........I'm personally not big anymore on one-shots and anthology type works, but I'll read this one if it gets scanlated.
