Well, that was sudden. I wasn't expecting it to come to a close so soon and then, "Ch.14 - End: Fighters 3." Ah well, was an exceptional series. Great artwork(I particularly like the psycho expressions on the bespectacled sister), interesting plot, and I am incredibly happy that Tanaka Yoshiki and Fukaki Shouko chose not to make this into a harem even though they could have with ease.
Still, the last chapter wasn't as impressive as the rest of the series. I'm not too fond of the whole "I'm a man so let me do the fighting and make the important decisions"--Alesha and Tora. The women were perfectly willing to execute the finishing blow, but no, "I'll get stronger and then do what I could have done months or years earlier." Ugh.
Looking forward to their next works. Not really sure if I should be expecting a sequel, certainly wasn't a decisive end.
Also, thank you PROzess and all who aided in the scanlating process.
On a side note. Down boy, stay, stay, no trolling for you, no trolling, I'll give you a biscuit.
Ending(Spoilers--"No duh")

Well it's based on a novel and the novel has 12 volumes.
There should obviously a lot more context.
My guess is the manga adaption didn't receive the attention they had hoped, so they just gave up after "rushing" through the first arc.
Unlikely we'll see a sequel of something that got axed once. Just remember MX0 xD

Ah, well good series. I find a few of my favorite anime/manga come from an origin in light novels and are done in before their time, i.e. Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu(and its rather unimpressive english name Legend of Legendary Heroes) and Full Metal Panic.

Well, who knows; maybe if another set of artist, writer and publisher expresses interest on continuing from other arcs found in the novels, it's possible to have a sequel. The previous work being axed doesn't concern the supposed new team working on the supposed sequel.
That's just my personal rambling on office procedures, though.
Something like a whole new group of people taking interest on making a manga adaptation of an obscure novel, is extremely unlikely.
Just a reminder for anyone thinking the author and artist went on break for the series, they didn't.
As PROzess said this manga is based on a series of Light Novels, the original 12 books ran from 2001 to 2008.
The manga was made in 2010, the mangakas can't take a break to think on how to continue the story if the orginal one had fininshed 2 years before they even started manking the manga adaptation.

QQ, i always hate it when it ends like that. but I'm glad to see that there are a few groups out there translating the light novels so hopefully they might pick up this one or any of the other great works like MxO (one of my all time favorites!)
but oh well, guess this just give me more of an incentive to try and learn japanese to find out how the story goes.
also thanks to PROzess for all the hard work. ^^

So far, no public raws for the novel has been found.
Someone would need to buy them if he wants to work on it.

Well, if anyone is that desperate to at least know a little more about the story, and knows japanese or can make sense of Google's butchered translations, wikipedia is your friend.

I say they are written without furigana, some raws I possess for Baccano! and Shakugan no Shana don't have furigana in them; even if Light Novels are generally targeted towards younger readers, it is assumed the readers already has a good grasp of the many the kanjis without needing help.
The same as old shounen manga, back then furigana wasn't a must even for manga targeted for younger audiences.

Well for experienced people furigana shouldn't matter anymore.
I actually like non-furigana works (seinen) better, as they keep my kanji knowledge up. With furigana works (shounen/shoujo) I tend to ignore the kanji and read the furigana on reflex T_T
And if you have trouble translating without furigana, you shouldn't touch a novel to begin with.
And to the readers it shouldn't matter at all, you wouldn't understand either way, would you?^^

Sadly I am not experienced. Been working on my Japanese the last few months and kana's not a big deal due to it being phonetic but kanji is so far beyond me that I won't even try reading something that is dependent upon it. I'm thinking atm the best way for me to advance my Japanese is to find a some raws and work on translating them myself, but considering that's not how light novels work I'll write that out of any plans I make.

First off Pudding !!!! than well they kind of rushed the action and ( i think that this manga is inspired by an american novelist that wrote the Dark hunter series , google it for more info, ) if they do make a sequel( not necessarily them but their "padawans" )and they rush the action like this than the end result will be a big Dislike , witch would be sad coss the story of the Dark hunter series was epic and the writer was a genius (from my point of view , since i like a bit of romance in my books ) and to sum it all up "PUDDING!!!"Unlikely we'll see a sequel of something that got axed once. Just remember MX0 xD
