Like omg, UxU is starting back up again after making me wait two years!! rawr

It's pretty much my favorite comedy romance of all time. It's a little slow and has a bit of a tendency to force awkward moments, but if you can deal with that and are into the genre it's a pretty funny read.

It used to run in korea but I'm pretty sure the company that ran it went bankrupt and it's now being run in japan.

Anyway, I'm stoked it's going again so I just had to post about it...

IDY is just a traitor who's working in Japan now. Korean publisher didn't go bankrupt or anything. Japanese just give more money when it comes to comics. While UxU is more unique compared to his other series, I've lost faith in him... I used to like IDY's stuff but eventually came to realize, they're all the same cliche stuff repeated again and again....

You got that right...but it's not at all uncommon in the romance genre really. Mix and match the same characters with different settings and a little change in story and it sells well enough to publish.

Sadly it works, and that's why IDY has 10 things out there, all of them pretty much the same basic story...just add magic, dragons, school boys, and some heart eating with a side of fight scenes in differing amounts and he gets another published story.

good thing i havent read any of his other works this is one i like a lot (It was the first Korean romance manwha i read) i was kind of happy when they start translating again. Thoough leave his company for another one makes him seem kind of money hunger. I hope this doesnt affect the manwha.

I found it kind of weak for the first chapter in such a long time.  Maybe its just me but after coming back from such a long hiatus, I expect to be wowed by at least the first chapter, I mean, flashbacks to his club days and then coming back to see her still sitting there.  I could have predicted that miles away.  Disappointed. =^(

I too was expecting a better chapter. I, more than anything, was expecting a longer chapter with a bit more drama rather than... yeah, I'm too lazy to add spoiler tags, so go read it and be underwhelmed.

a chap that you get after a series has been running for a long time, nonstop and the author has run out of original material.  He better step up his game in these coming chapters.  I also just like adding these spoilers cuz I find it amusing, nothing we've said is REALLY spoiler worthy. ;^)

well it seems like we will get a happy ending for UxU. he could have made the "new" chapters after the hiatus so much better but he had to make it drama ...

and yeah a lot of his work are just the same thing.

So we are going to just keep the last chapter from being posted? Why not delete the whole manhwa then? Kind of ironic.

had to greet this manwha.

I started  it 7 years ago but i loved it so much every time there was an hiatus or translator gave up on it i waited for the next chapter.

The artwork was amazing and the story very interesting (thrilling)

one of my favorite manwha(not to say my favorite :'D)

So if you didn't read it yet i really advise you to read it
