As I was reading this manga, I got a really strong feeling that, at the very least, the characters are almost identical to the ones in toradora. We have the main character, who's a guy obsessed with cleaning/perfection and loves to cook. They are both single children and their only parent has the same lazy kind of atmosphere. Then the heroine which follows almost the exact same personality as taiga. And I was even a bit freaked out by the uncanny resemblance between the class president and toradora's Minami. There's even more, it's just hard to explain. And it's not even the same author (I checked) Is it just me?

Yes, it is just you... At least as far as I am concerned. You will find that many manga characters fall into personality types (Tsun-tsun, Tsun-dere, Dere-dere, etc...) and these personaltiy types are common throughout all manga. Kokage, for example, exhibits primarily Tsun-Dere characteristics when she doesn't forget things. Really, if you try hard enough you can group any character from any series with characters from other series just based on personality type.

(and yes, I have read Toradora what is out of it anyway.)

I think it's just you, no offense. Actually, some of the things you pointed out are pretty common in manga.
