Dear gosh I must have impeccable timing. Thank you egscans! Just got done reading the new volume. Cant wait to see more on a regular basis now.

Ch.154: Grey is so awesome. He pretty much raised the bar for all other giant-sword-wielding-characters out there.

And it looks like Irlina is closing in on them. The old gang's getting back together! They've been separated for like 17 volumes.

It's kinda hazy now, but I still remember reading Id when it first came out and laughing my ass off at kmts' gag pages. Those guys were hilarious. The early artwork in the first few volumes had this style to it that I really liked, but the character designs have changed dramatically over time. It still has AT Kenny's distinct style but the intricate details have largely been "smoothed" over.

This chapter.... words fail me. My body was almost unprepared for what was about to ensue.

Ch.160: I applaud the decision to have other people fight Percer rather than opting for a rematch with Id. It's a very nice change of pace.
Behuia's not doing much. That battalion of sword masters is also not doing much. How can we fix that? Hmmmmmm....

You know, all things considered, Percer's doing alright for a guy that's been totally awake inside a rock for 10,000 years. In retrospect, he knew Id before Id knew him, which presents one of those nifty time paradoxes I'm sure everyone loves to think about.

Speaking of time paradoxes, I have a theory about how the name Id came into existence. Since Id used the name "Id" to refer to himself when he went back in time to defeat God, his name would have been circulating around Ground Zero after he left, especially among the dragons. Since we knew Greydrone was alive and kicking 5,000 years before the events of Ground Zero, he would've caught wind of Id's name, which is how it appeared in his memory when Id (Chun-wha) searched it for a name in the beginning of the series. All the dragons of the present time seem to know the name "Id" as the "one from the forgotten era". The fact that the name Id had already been circulating throughout Gressen history for 10,000 years before Id went back in time to put it there speaks volumes of how messy time-travel logic can be.

That explaination makes alotta sense... then again like you said time-travel logic is messy.

I'm suprised Id had to become one with lamia to fight percer though. Also i'm not sure hes doing alright, damn he spent 10,000 years awake in that rock what sort of mental strenth would you need to spend such a long period of time like that and not go mentally insane.

I was re-reading a few choice chapters, and totally forgot about the jewel bandits in the pub scenario with Gray and Chun-Hwa in the beginning of the manga. I just wanted to add my comments to the ID:the greatest fusion fantasy sexy-times talk from the first page.

Seriously, it seems that from here on out everyone that wants to fight the fragments of chaos must be demi gods. But on the other hand... This is so damn fun to read. I wonder what will happen next.

In Ch164, Selenia says she wants to get stronger... Judging from her personality and the circumstances, it will end up being 'private' lessons with Id... If for nothing else, just to tease all the other characters that have a thing for Id... Plus my bet's on her getting Sidgar learn from him as well...
