First, what a contrast between ch. 29 and ch. 30--from silly and sexy straight to awwww, poor Robin!
Second, does anyone else see a parallel between this manga and Maison Ikkoku? It's a horror spoof, but I often think it's specifically Maison Ikkoku done as silly horror. Young man staying in a boarding house, check. The landlady is beautiful and sweet and he falls for her, check. Various odd and rowdy characters live there and make his life miserable, check. The romance is intermittent and progresses in fits and starts (at best), check.
Of course, probably these days hardly anyone even remembers Maison Ikkoku. But, he says optimistically, what do people think?

Wow...this got ugly. Is it me or does this seem like a new direction for the manga, especially after that bitter sweet ice maiden story earlier?
Even if this takes the expected revenge route, rape and the psychological after effects always seem to be taken too lightly (in my opinion) in manga. I'd almost predict that she'll kill herself or die in some manner and we'll end up with a ghost at the monster house.

I don't think so. While it does have its obvious Maison Ikkoku parallels, it's a darker world (we aren't in the eighties anymore), and Kodaira has just offered to listen to her troubles. My guess is that she's gonna confide in him, he'll hesitate for at most two panels, complaining how he's just gotten a job and can't catch a break, and proceed to round up a posse of monsters to scare the living daylights out of the scummy boss.

This is crazy, authors suddenly trying to inject as much violence and sex as zhe can near the end. It didn't even make sense to rip her clothes off when the slug thing came at her, the clothes would have acted as a barrier for the slug thing to enter her private holes. Besides, even men have anuses, so why were none of the males stripped? Because author wanted a excuse for sexual stuff with a "pretty woman" (author isn't the greatest of artists, how pretty she is drawn is up for debate)
