I know this suggestion post is a bit old, but upon searching it was exactly what I wanted to suggest as well.
Regarding the problems with advertising, I don't know about the feasibility of it, but would it be possible to add more ads along the side of the page as you scroll down?
For example currently it is:
[-banner ad-]
[----------------] [----------]
[-----page-----] [long ad]
[----------------] [----------]
and if they were in a strip it would be perhaps like this:
[-banner ad-]
[----------------] [-----------]
[----page1----] [long ad1]
[----------------] [-----------]
[----------------] [-----------]
[----page2----] [long ad2]
[----------------] [-----------]
[----------------] [-----------]
[----page3----] [long ad3]
[----------------] [-----------]
There would be one ad per page missing (the top banner ad), but I personally wouldn't mind if there was another banner ad between the pages (although it would look more cluttered).
The reason I'm keen to support this is because like Killua said, I'd much prefer to wait longer for a webpage for one chapter to load, rather than having to click and wait ~10 seconds for each page to load (I have slow internet as well). At least if it can load in one go, I can open it and leave it to load while doing something else.
Right now during peak hour Optus traffic, I'll go through and click open a new webpage for each chapter page and leave all the tabs to load.
Again I don't know the difficulties with implementing it, but it would be nice to have the option.
