ok this may have been explained in the comic but i have to ask
what the hell is up with their project? at first i thought, ok delve into the minds of villians and see how they think, that works, but it seems like they actually have to go through with the plans, which is confusing as hell for me

this is a hero school last i checked right?

Ha ha. But this is a hero school that desperately wants to stand out above all others. Besides there is no white or black until the end of a war.

yeah but, the mask team sounds like they are actually going to summon a damn demon
that doesn't seem like something you want people to do in the first place

Basically, its training for understanding how villains work.
If you know what they want to do, what they plan to do and how they're going to do it, you can defeat them by stopping those actions.

But all this reeks of something bigger to me.
Seems like they want to make a school of anti-heroes to me.

Isn't it a great concept? The second rate hero school which realizes it can instead make first rate villains! While in terms of raw power they can't compete with the heroes they get to plan and scheme to tip the odds in their favour. They'd be so perfecty suited for it too: A demoness, giant wolf and member of the chinese mafia, you can't really imagine them as heroes but as villians..... A villain also has to think on their feet -just like them when escaping from the police and going after the heroes weakpoints. Whether the protagonists are going to be happy about this and go with the flow though....

yeah but i doubt many of the students themselves WANT to be labeled as villains, why do you think they went to a supposed hero school, that in mind alot of the characters can do well as heroes, even gunther, he held on to that persons leg tightly

also those heroes from the hero school are really just assholes, did anyone else laugh when the angel said "We are the embodiments of justice, we don't need to rationalize are actions"
at that moment two things popped into my mind
1. i wanna punch you in the face (damn me and fiction)
2. thats going to ruin school image

Maybe the dean of their school notices the corruption in the high class hero schools so he created this school to challenge and eventually knock them off their pedestal. That is why he gives them classes like thinking as a villian and also creates situations that pit them against that Saint-Ange school so often. That or he's trying to create your typical anti-heroes
(So fed up with all the goody to-shoes emo heroes)

I don't think he is that kind of person, the principal is a calculating, manipulative b*stard, who uses others for his own end. He still does have a grander masterplan, I'm sure of it
