It's written as リィーン, wich is pronounced with a ridiculously long "i" sound, sometning like [ri:in], so Lynn is nowhere close, and, as the japanese tend to think, that european languages don't have any "r"s at all, I guess, she wouldn't really use 'r' as a letter for her name. But, would she even think of that in a situation like this?

So, let's just put it to a vote. What, in your opinion, would be the best choice of name for her?

IMHO I could see a Japanese person looking at the name Lynn and saying Riin, since the whole R/L thing is a free for all in Japanese. My thought process is that she saw the names they gave and picked something of a similar pseudonym. (Since they gave fake names of Cyan and Vaan) Other character names in the series so far are: Noel, Jin, Agnes and Leon. All of those are in the realm of staple fantasy names. Leen isn't any fantasy name I've ever heard.

So my vote would be leave it as Reene for consistency since we'll never know for sure, or Lynn if we want a normal-sound name that would fit in a fantasy setting.

Although I vote for Lynn, that one is usually written 「リインー」 wasn't it?

But still, Lyn are probably the closest? No wait, wasn't that 「ルィン」? yep, definitely not "Ruin「ルイン」", I mean it...

...Or perhaps it was [Lyhn]?

(as authour wanted to call her "Gift of God"?... probably...)

Novel LN versions :

The Suzu (鈴) in Misuzu (美鈴) can be read as 「Rin」 so I used it as my alias. But they lengthened the vocal part and pronounced it as Riin. In the end, I decided it as 「Reene」

Mr.bahn - Vaan

the other knight should be called cyan.
