Learned Japanese in University years ago and passed N2 after graduating.
I have been translating from Jap to Eng, Eng to Jap, and writing articles in Eng by accepting jobs on freelance websites.
Since the quality of Eng translation in Japan is generally terrible, these sites offer little compensation. Plus, I have to compete with Japanese housewives, who probably use google translate,
or Chinese outsourcing companies.
I am also not interested in working in Japan as a school teacher, translator, office worker, etc., for obvious reasons.
If there are successful scanlator groups here who are hiring translators then contact me:
I can send the N2 and other language exam documents as proof if necessary.
Please don´t bother me with "test" translations to finish your projects.
