what's with the comments page always going to the very first post after i posted something? that doesn't seem right...especially on a long series (eg: Gintama) with a couple hundred pages worth of posts dating 3-4 years back. minor inconvenience, but super weird, yah?

IP Board feature.  It defaults to oldest comment first.  Grumpy implemented a workaround for comic comment pages that's fine until you post a new comment. Then you have to refresh twice to get things back in most-recent-first order.

ah sorry wasn't aware of another similar thread already existing. nice that Grumpy did damage control, but looks like a more comprehensive workaround would be needed for this inconvenience to bugger off
