Hello, I uploaded a chapter to https://vatoto.com/comic/_/comics/please-dont-bully-me-nagatoro-r22631 but I and many others were seeing CDN UK/NYC/LAX in place of the pages. Switching servers didn't fix it.

So, I re-uploaded it to this link: https://vatoto.com/reader#b39d08d4ccf57170 but the error persists, even 7 hours later. However, it seems that some people are probably able to read it.

I've seen more threads like this in the forums, but none that had a concrete answer. Can someone help?

That's because the message is just an information which image server you're connecting to, in case something is wrong with it, that replaced the default 404 error. And with this error there can be multiple reasons what's wrong with your archive, ranging from a corrupted file (usually because of wonky internets) to uploading photoshop files by mistake.
 
In your case it seems you're using the lzma compression method that the unpacker on site's end can't process. Switch back to deflate.

The kind that's focused on images. LZMA-based formats (and rar for that matter, which we support due to it being popular in the scanlation community at the time Batoto was created) create larger archives than a simple zip file does 100% of the time when archiving manga images. And it's more complicated to create, as pretty much every OS has a built-in tool to create zip files at this point, while 7z, RAR, and others require external programs.

 

Also, I think the unpacking script calls `unzip` and `unrar` directly, instead of using an archiving tool that supports multiple formats.

 

p.s. it says right underneath the upload button that only .zip and .rar extensions are supported btw
