Say, it is already 2017 and a large enough site like this should have HTTPS implemented for session logins :/

 

Edit: it is weird, I swear I just saw HTTP being used for my login a few minutes ago. It was HTTPS at the second time I tried to login.

there's no https on pages that have ads (mainly because the majority of ad networks, and iirc all of batoto's ones, either doesn't serve https ads at all or pays noticeably less for https ones because of there being few of them available)

 

login popup on the front page and other stuff with ads - http 

login on other pages (like the whole forum) - https

login on the actual login page (i.e. not using the quick login popup; right click on the sign in button and open in a new tab, or copy the link, to bypass the javascript popup) - also https
