So as I've been reading  Amano Megumi wa Suki Darake! , Ive noticed the the male MC is a bit different to most ecchi male leads in that he has a lot more traits that could define his personalites , and Im curious to know how many positive ones I can that can match with Amano-san. I'll state a few to start this topic off

 

-Academically Intelligent (Aiming for Toudai , of course)

-Is really good at cooking (One of his greatest assets in attracting girls)

-Is great with kids (hence his relationship with his cousin Aki)

-Loves Dogs (Fond of Amano's pet Gaku)

 

 

Let's see if we can find more

-he is a decent guy (at least tries not to peak at Amano and often tells her that she is exposing herself)

-A family man (helps his family out in his parents restaurant and uncles beach house)

-helps Amano without asking for compensation (Doesn't want to embarrass her and therefore hides in front of her friends and does all the work in the beach house so  she can have fun with her friends) 

-is  good with bandages (obviously due to patching Amano up all the time)

-Whenever amano is in tough spot, he doesn't think twice before making his next move (for example, jumping immediately when is realized amano was drifting away on the sea), Maybe that's one of the reason why megumi loves him so much too..
-Manabu is surprisingly brave actually and he has his own weird way of facing off with people trying to hit on amano or checking her openings out (dealing with large group of beach perverts, Shooing off baseball stadium delinquents, train perverts and many more)..
-Goes wayy too far to help anyone in need (for example, while helping mikawa during valentine's day he actually collected easy recipes all night and he cooked several of them himself so he can teach her to cook in easiest way possible and beach stall thing mentioned by @nopeewhy above)..

People just see him as a thin and glasses wearing dude, So naturally for them he falls under gutless guy territory for them... just want to say he is more than that actually!!! He has no sense when it comes to romance though..
