Some times I wonder why is there no Shoujo manga tag to this particular manga.
The main charcter is the central ecchi bait.Doesn't really appeal to me.However.

Is clearly fujoshi bait at its finest.The Maroho Cannon is something that other shoujo manga/reverse harem don't have.This is really more of an ecchi manga for girls.

There is a "harem" but nobody is in love with him.He is the only boy for legit reasons.There is a small bath scene with two girls but even then it's classy and tastefully done(two girls chilling and drinking).Even Sena is more of a self insert rather than a tsundere.

Seems rather unconvincing for a intended "shonen" appeal ,when the fujioshi appeal is too strong.It's story is interesting though.It is nowere near as lazy as the other idol anime and manga out there with a sci-final element that is not half @seed.Maybe because of the artstyle and author being a dude it is a shonen.

The main reason it's considered a shounen title is because it's published in a magazine specifically targeted at that demographic, Shuukan Shounen Sunday, which is the basis for most of those demographic tags.
