I am so confused as to how to go about Batoto. I wish there was like a guide for Batoto noobs.

The newbie guide forum place gives some good advice about having blankets, getting sleep and not talking to perverts etc...  but unfortunately does not help one go about actually using batoto. If a place does exist, do let me know pups. Rant over. kthanxbai <3

that newbie thread is for socialising/being silly purposes I think. you'd have to ask the person who started it what they meant by it.

depending on what you mean by the newbie, there's also some info on basic forum/IPB functions here:

though it's all default stuff (like iirc it has no info on spoiler tag because it's custom; said spoiler tag can nonetheless be found behind the 'special bbcode' button, to the left of "font" selection).

 

there are also some pinned threads here and there if any subforum has specific rules, and if you have any issues that are not explained by the above, you could dig through the support subforum to see if it's already been asked about (I suggest either using ctrl+f search if you can think of a keyword that could appear in the thread title, or googling it with "site:bato.to", as IPB's forum search has never been very reliable)

Yup, hit the quote or multiquote button, that way people with get a notice they've been quoted and know you're talking to 'em

Multiquote is essential if you want to take the discussion to another thread, where what you write will be on topic.  Quote only works within the current thread. 

 

Forum games are in the games section.  Most random/weird stuff in Potato Hell.  Don't put plot spoilers in comic comment threads and use spoiler tags or hide tags for stuff that's too big/long for a comic comment.

I thought we created that years ago.... It's meant for humorous general rules of interwebs.

As for today if i have to suggest anything about batoto... just be one with your comics and avoid forum drama.
