there are no hard limits afaik but you should stick to average/common sizes others use + split long webtoons into multiple images if you're going for that. giant images may not display for everyone for whatever technical reasons.
try to keep filesizes humane too - heavy images might lead to people not bothering with your comic because it takes forever to load (or, like with the above, may lead to loading problems).
so just optimise your releases for normal reading and don't try to show off how amazing each of your pixels is.
saying this because there once was someone uploading a comic with each page fit for cinema-sized screens bcs quality loss or sth and it was both unreadable and iirc they themselves couldn't get it to show for them.
