So currently on the main page for a series displays the most recent cover with some exceptions. But this is usually done by whoever gets to it and doesn't always represents the series as a whole and potentially spoils longer running series. So I'm wondering if we could switch to a more archive system displaying the first volume cover and give the preceding covers in a tab format? I don't know the technical side behind this change but am interested in what others think.

Oh, you're absolutely right as far as I'm concerned, for that matter I wouldn't allow any covers other than from the first volumes of multi-volume works anywhere on the site at all (other than within the pages of whatever chapters should the scanlator include them of course).

 

It actually serves no true purpose at all having later ones showing on the series pages other than the potential to spoil new readers. If people wanna see 'em then just read the manga or go look 'em up on an image site.

 

But it'll never be changed.........nothing around here is gonna be changed.
