On MAL and other anime sites it says there are 144 chapters to Tokyo Ghoul manga. I felt like what I read here at Batoto had a logical ending (it even says it will continue in Re). Is this everything for the first manga, or is the last chapter missing on this site?

 

Edit: I read Twisted Hel Scans that has chapter 143 + end.

There are 143 "main" chapters and I'm guessing the chapter 144 would be the epilogue, which Twisted Hel Scans included with chapter 143. Having read these, you can proceed to :re. 

 

In total, the order of TG manga in chronological order would be:

• Tokyo Ghoul: Jack (prequel, 7 chapters)
• Tokyo Ghoul chapter 46.5 ("Rize")
• Tokyo Ghoul (143 chapters + epilogue)
• Tokyo Ghoul:re chapters 1 - 30
• Tokyo Ghoul: Joker (oneshot)
• Tokyo Ghoul:re chapters 31.5 - current 

However, you don't need to read Jack, Joker, or Rize to really understand.
