Hello,

I'm from BAM Team and I have uploaded 10+ chapters in different manga and I would like to request the Contributor status.

 

 

I have read and understood the rules and am aware of the technicalities involved in the uploading process.

Please check all of your uploads. Some of the chapters' sorting number isnt correct. Not sure who approved them . If you need help with sort order, read my Guide to uploading located in my signature.
Until all chapters are sorted out correctly, meaning it matches the other groups chapter sort, You will not be granted contributor status. Any questions, you may post here or pm me.

They are still not sorted right.... All chaps should follow the english group sort.... 

Or if there is no English  group , follow the first oldest releases sort.

I don't understand how i don't follow the english group... the chapters are in the correct order

It is part of being a contributor, Konan.

 

Read below to help you out:

5. Sort order: The Sort number can be now seen by hovering your mouse over any chap's title. It will be shown on the right after the vertical bar line.
Image of it:  In the image, the sorting of all chaps are correct.  It show that chap 48 is sorted at 8048. the other group following it.

Intro: Since volumes and chapters sometimes are weird (i.e., chapter 3a, 3b, or Omakes, etc.), the comics are NOT sorted by the volume/chapter number. They are sorted by a special "sort number".
The Default Rules: By default, if you leave the "sort order" field blank, then:
A) if there is no volume listed, the sort number is equivalent to the chapter number;

 

If there is a volume number, the sort number is determined by the following formula:
s = 1000v + c
where s is the sort number, v is the volume number, and c is the chapter number.

Typically you should leave the sort order blank in the uploader and just let the default formulas work.
They are the default rules because they work well under the typical situation.

Decimals: Batoto allows decimals in the sort order, so you can use 15.5 or even 25.01

When To Manually Sort: Circumstances such as an omake chapter or chapters 17a and 17b that do not have clear numerical values need the uploader to manually type in a sort number.

Another reason to manually sort is if there are a mix of volume and non-volume uploads. For example, if Volume 12, Chapter 100 of Comic X is already on Batoto,it will have a sort order of 12100 by default. If you want to upload chapter 150 and don't know the volume number, then you must manually set the sort order, probably to 12150. This is because chapter 150 without a volume will default to a sort order of 150. This is less than 12100, and so, Batoto will list vol 0 chp 150 BEFORE vol 12 chp 100.

Please make sure all your uploads is consistent with the other groups' sort order for the chap[s].

 

After you finish reading it, Please fix your uploads for this comic. If you fix it, you may bump this thread . If you fix it correctly, I will give you Contributor.

~o~ cause at the time, only that series was it of order.

 

Since then you have uploaded many more chaps, 

And what I mean is now and the future, you have to know how

to sort, we don't want to keep reminding you to sort once you

are a Contributor. Once you are a contributor, if we find 

any out of order sorts, we will have to demote you.

 

You don't want that... we don't want any conflicts

so we want to make sure you know how to sort.

Una volta non c'erano tutti questi problemi, tutto si sistemava da solo quando caricavo un capitolo. Per questo non riuscivo a capire subito il problema da risolvere. Ora che so cosa devo fare lo farò ogni volta che carico un capitolo nuovo.

Comunque ora ho controllato tutti gli altri manga che ho caricato e dovrebbero essere apposto. Spero vada bene
