Two characters.
The boy is an idiot who cannot understand his own heart leery alone someone else's, but receives constant attention (teasing) from the girl.
The girl has to use her cunning to get attention from the boy or she'll be left behind, but she can read his expressions abs understands her own feelings for him.
We've all read it. Most of us have dreamed of it. Who would you rather be in the story and why

Well, its a mix of unrequitted love, because he is still too young and underdeveloped compared to her and the fear, that his first love really might not be her (right now he subconsiously likes her, but doesnt really considerr a mature relationship). So I guess Id prefer to be the boy, so you have one BIG thing less to worry about, but on the other hand she has a goal and the patience for it. But I guess she knows she will eventually succeed and just is having fun the way she is. ^^
