You may have seen the meme on tumblr or imgur.

A story about a girl who avoids being the main character of cliches.

This manga is not like that meme. The idea of this series was to create something with a deeper meaning. A story that isn't about just cliches.

I hope everyone will be able to see that in future chapters.

I as a writer, have never made a manga before, but I've learned a lot after making chapter 1 of WataShu with my artist. We can't wait to show you all what we learned in future chapters, and hope you enjoy the series as we continue to grow. We'll become even better.

The idea of a heroine avoiding the cliches of a main character was certainly inspired by that meme, no doubt about it. However, my pride as a writer wouldn't allow me to rip something off. I looked at the meme as a story prompt and took it further in my own way.
