Information laced with speculation and extrapolation/conclusions drawn from Myths and Legends that are referenced:

Zhou Xin Life (w/ Su Jiu Er): 11th century BC

Based on the Legend of NeZha which is set at the end of the Shang Dynasty, Su Jiu Er (original name Su Daji, aka the fox) was born during the last emperor Zhou Xin's reign. She fell in love with the emperor but since she was a fox she needed to become human in order to get together. In order to do that she found herbs that could potentially assist her cultivation so that she would reach the point where she would turn human. In the story, she is a nine-tailed fox and each tail signifies one life. She ate 8 different herbs, dying each time before succeeding with the 9th one and achieving human form. She succeeded in becoming Zhou Xin's favorite concubine and through their connection with her, many others also joined the royal court. But by using her love against her, others tried to used the power of the Dynasty in order to become more powerful and eventually rule the world. NeZha, fought against this increasingly corrupt rule, eventually defeating the emperor and Daji and toppling the Dynasty. Supposedly she and the emperor commits suicide by staying together in a burning tower. (This is all the Legend of NeZha kid's story's tale. History and whatnot is probably different.)

Notes:

  • The Emperor is everything to Daji. In the children's story, Legend of NeZha, the "bad guy who is trying to rise up in power" gives Daji a knife telling her to retrieve the heart of the emperor. When she does so she will have enough power to rule all. But she even asks the emperor for it but even though he says "Yes" she cannot do so. In the end they just die together.
  • This is the "first" life based on what can be assumed from Su Jiu Er's true name Su Daji. While not verified and said outright, this is the assumed beginning of this relationship between Su Daji/Jiu Er and Feng Xi.
  • Since there was this "take his heart for power" part Zhou Xin could have been a "Yang Eye"

"Leader of the fight against the monsters" life (w/ Su Jiu Er): 2XX AD

This is a Su Jiu Er flashback that starts with her finding our MC and saying "It really is you, you're reincarnated" and "In the past life you weren't like this". During this time period it seems like there is high tension between the monsters (who are natives) and humans (who the monsters see as upstarts/invaders). The MC is a warrior that eventually becomes the leader of the fight against these "human-hating" monsters and Su Jiu Er is kind of caught in between. The "big-baddie" of the series seems to make an appearance in this flashback arguing with Su Daji about monsters and humans and how she is a monster yet still sides with humans. (Big-baddie has half-human and half-monster blood yet hates humans) The MC's ambition is the defeat these radical monsters and make a place where both can co-exist. This escalates into the "final" battle where both leaders meet and basically engage in a fight-to-the-death. Unable to win, he takes a fatal injury for a chance to severely injure the opposing side's leader. He dies while promising to Su Jiu Er that he will marry her in the next life.

Notes:

  • This life is the life that divides Su Jiu Er from the monster "pack"
  • The "Big-baddie"'s goal is the eradicate all humans
  • He is a Yang Eye in this life.

Long San Yuan w/ Su Jiu Er Life: 3XX AD

--Long San Yuan Perspective--

Long San Yuan (~13 dragon years old [1 dragon year = 100 normal years]) saves the MC after he is thrown into the ocean as a sacrifice to the Dragon King. She decides that he is her childhood betrothed (betrothed since childhood aka a fiancee) and says that his job is the play with her until she grows up and then marry her. He fulfills that promise but only partly, playing, visiting, taking her to places throughout all of his life until he passes away. During his life, using dragon's tears, he does research and attempts to create a pill that will make him immortal but eventually fails. He even invents the "becoming one" or "art of lovemaking" cultivation method but never uses or verifies it. He gifts her a pearl (or maybe it's one of his failed attempts) infused with his lifelong cultivation and promises to marry her in another/next life before passing away.

--Su Daji Perspective--

About 14 years after the MC is saved by Long San Yuan, Su Daji succeeds in finding him in the reincarnation. Because of his promise to marry her in the next life in his previous life, she is disheartened and upset whenever he mentions that he has this promise to Long San Yuan. She follows him around (unlike Long San Yuan whom he visits mostly) and assists him in his immortality research. One of the requests of her is that she burn his body after his death.

Notes:

  • Because of his request of Su Jiu Er, it is possible that he is a Yang Eye in the reincarnation.

Imperial Official w/ Su Jiu Er Life: Time period unknown but estimated between 300 and 600 AD

The flashback of this life is very short. The world is at peace; humans are not fighting and monsters are not causing trouble. Su Jiu Er is standing behind the human empress to show and warn the monsters not to make trouble. She is basically carrying out one of the MC's wishes in letting the monsters and humans coexist. The MC on the other hand has contracted an incurable disease (probably TB and coughs up blood all the time) and has reached a stage where he will die soon. He asks for leave and retreats to a remote area where surprisingly, a Guo Shuang look-a-like child is assigned as his guard. When Su Jiu Er visits, he tells her he is getting better and upon seeing the Guo Shuang look-a-like, she leaves satisfied because of her "supposed-to-be" role. He dies shortly after.

Notes:

  • He is the Yang Eye so his coughing up blood all the time is rather problematic.
  • He deems that since the world is at peace he is unneeded in this world since one of the Yang Eye's role is the fight/restrain monsters.
  • He asks Su Jiu Er to "return the world to the humans" by leaving her position of power because human problems should be solved by humans.

Tang Seng Life (possible): Tang Dynasty

Read Journey to the West novel.

Notes (if this is a life):

  • Tang Seng's flesh is the goal of all monsters in this novel. Based on its characteristics, Tang Seng would be considered a "Yang Eye".

Zhang San Feng Life (w/ Guo Shuang and Su Jiu Er): Southern Song Dynasty to Ming Dynasty (c ~1100 - ~1300)

--Feng Xi Early Life Perspective--

This is the Guo Shuang life. The MC and Guo Shuang were raised as Taoists together since childhood. MC and Guo Shuang had feelings for each other but Guo Shuang is basically a tsundere. Eventually, Guo Shuang gets into an accident in which she loses all of her memories. While she recovers from said injuries, she doesn't know anything and decides to embark on a journey and leaves. The MC lets her go yet continues to harbor this love all of his life. (Guo Shuang does promise that in her next life she will marry him though, right before she falls from the cliff).

--Su Jiu Er Flashback (Late Life) Perspective--

Su Jiu Er provides dragon's tears to Guo Shuang in order to help her stay alive because she knows the MC still loves her. Unfortunately because of the memory loss the two have only a "business style" relationship because both have become the head of some school. At the end of his life, the MC reveals that he took her bracelet after her death. He asks Su Jiu Er to toss it since one should not always live in the past. After she leaves, it is revealed that his youthful appearance is only a trick he used (by applying some supernatural technique) and he's a super old man. Su Jiu Er goes to the place where Guo Shuang fell all those years ago, hesitates in throwing it away (and doesn't), before returning to ask the MC if that's his final decision. She returns to find that in the short time she left, he passed away, leaving her forlorn.

Notes:

  • Zhang San Feng allegedly lived for over 200 years, while Guo Shuang probably only like to around 50 or 60 even with the support of the dragon's tears.

Current Life:

Dude just read the damn manhua.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Profiles:

Long San Yuan - a 3000+ year old dragon, daughter of the Dragon King who once ruled the seas. She does have a magical treasure: the Imperial Dragon Control Pearl. Slightly older than Su Jiu Er.

Su Jiu Er [Su Daji] - a 3000+ year old white nine-tailed spirit fox, born roughly around the end of the Shang Dynasty. She is one of the top 10 most powerful monsters in existence. Faithful to the MC's soul, it is uncertain how many lives she has shared with the MC whenever he is reborn.

Guo Shuang - Taoist girl who was once an almost lover of the MC. One of the people who reincarnate many times. Each life she is supposed to act as the MC's shield and prevent some disaster or calamity, which serves to awake the MC from his innocence.

Feng Xi - the MC, probably between 16 and 20. He is the Yang Eye of this generation. Has had multiple reincarnations and therefore some connections with older monsters like Su Jiu Er and Long San Yuan. While uncertain, it is possible that the Yang Eye has always him throughout history. He has been the Yang Eye at least more than once.

No unfortunately the only life he remembers clearly is the "Guo Shuang" life. All the other flashbacks are the specific character recalling her past. Like right now with the Long San Yuan flashback. As for whether he will somehow get to know them? I can't say because the raws only has him knowing one life (though he is aware of the existance of other past lives thanks to Su Jiu Er).
