I don't know how Illumi is gunna be doing it, maybe full on monstrous, but in the RE:Monster manga everything is pretty much human in appearance. Minotaurs a huge guys with horns, but not cow faces and stuff. Ogres are similar. If Illumi is doing the same thing here then you can probably have a pretty looking version of anything.

When you look at the job advancements, are you supposed to have multiple job mastered before being able to acquire it?
If we have idea about a combination that does not involve the class mixes you have, can we use it?

Basic-, Advance-, and Expert Jobs have the least amount of prerequisites. Specifically, Advance- and Expert Jobs only require that you master the previous job in the ladder. Second-, Master-, and Legendary Jobs all have multiple job requirements.

Just run it by me and if I feel it's different enough from anything I already have listed, then I'll add it to the tree.

To hell with stats and skills, imma pick the prettiest sub-evolution instead! \○/

But beauty is subjective, nephew. I'm sure DR would argue that your character could be a very, beautiful minotaur. =D

I plan on sticking closer to the monsterous aspects of the various rank-ups.

So orcs are fanged, orges are large and grotesque, and minotaurs will have cow heads. The hobbe family as I said, will look very human while the fae variant will have long limbs and ears, like elves.

Vampires will be albino and... Well, I'll let you choose the rank-up instead of going with an automatic human look. Trolls will look infected and diseased. Shapeshifters will be long, pale and blind in their true form. Dryads look like plants, and mages (like vampires) can pick from any rank-ups they desire. Of course, so long as they both meet the prerequisites.

The divine rank-ups with either look like angels (gold color and wings), demons (red color and horns), or elementals (living rocks, fire, ect).

Just to be clear: I have a skill list, and each job/rank-up needs at least a few skills from that list to unlock it. So if you want to cheat, I can give you an idea of what skills you need. Or you can wing it, and then ask me if you didn't unlock what you wanted.

@Naifu: need an update to get the plot moving. Granpa Gobbs legs are occupied and Brix is holding onto the nicest pillow. Not much for my character to do than stand and hope for someone to come talk to.

Before I forget again, I said that I won't be making any abilities for the various jobs. Which I'm sticking too, but what I will do is make a few skills for each job that you guys will need to learn in order to claim mastery of that job. I think 5 skills should be enough.

So for example, a Knight will gain access to heavy armor, shields, polearms, a commanding aura, and a battle cry.

As far as Rank-ups go, there will only be Variants and Subspecies. Being a variant means your skin color is different from what is normally expected (Black Orc), and changes based on your alignment (Good, Evil, Neutral). And being a subspecies means that your body is different, like having wings or extra legs.

This also means you can be both: a variant subspecies.

Darker colors = Evil, Lighter colors = Good, Neutral = Default
