Name: Oscar Isaac.
Age: 15.
Personality: A quite and shy young man, very fond of listening to others talk and things he finds beautiful. Appreciates the Fine arts and is fond of exquisite food.
History: Oscar was a lucky one, or he believes it so. He was a few days old when his real parents left him at the porch of the Orphanage where he spent the first few formative years of his life. He was a different one, Sister Marissa had told him a few times. Fond of cleaning the household and a natural talent in odd jobs, he was a shy but inquisitive young child always eager to help elders out and work diligently for his place at the orphanage, thus when the Isaacs came looking for an adoption, he was the first choice. If his life had been fairly comfortable until now, it soon became a dream for Isaacs were in the upper echelons of the powerful in London with their only weakness now looked for.
His adoptive mother showered him with immense love unlike what he had expected or anticipated and his adoptive father was a gentle but principled man. Thus Oscar took to this family like their own son and soon grew comfortable. It was around 12 that his powers suddenly sprouted, initially he truly believed it to be out of his need for a contemporary. A friend who could share his life and experiences, though he had been enrolled into a great school, he had found it harder to make friends due to both teenage awkwardness and general shyness.
People tend to steer away from him even when he was a teacher's favorite and a diligent, hard working man. Perhaps it was the distant expression or his silent demeanor or a combination of both. But on that fateful day two years ago, he made his art come alive. Was it his deep seeded longing for a companion or something else but surely it seemed like magic.
Since then, he has spent even more time bundled up in his room, reading on magic and further refining his art. It was like his instruments were his materials for creating magic. After a while, he received a letter address addressed to him. It felt like something out from a fantasy book but he read it carefully a few times and then told his parents. Surprisingly, they were rather delighted with this development and he was assured of their full support regarding the shift in his school.
Perhaps the Isaacs may have stumbled on something even more than an able successor.
