I like her and Rak, but if SIU is actually willing to let them stay dead (or appear to stay dead until end of season) some of the tension that's been missing from Tower of God might return.

I used to like Yeon, too. But I really didn't like her becoming a teamplayer and losing her selfishness. That was a big part of her charm for me. I'd be fine either way, as long as this actually causes a change in their behaviour.

Remember that Yeon can fly by creating fire (fight with Angel), and also i remember that Rak can resist fire pretty good (Yeon + Rak combo in the workshop battle), so she could save herself and Rak by flying. But of course everything leads to swordsman dead.

 

I've liked Karaka personality, he might be a crazy and violent version of Wangnan + much more power. Nice to confirm their blood realtion, but I think that his amusement is not a good one. He compares not achieveing any of his objectives (Baam entering the train + Yuri alive) with descovering that his brother is alive so i don't think he likes the info only to meet with him and take some tea. He remarked the fact that he has the ring, so maybe it's not only for decoration. I can imagine a situation where there were >2 brothers and Karaka hunted them down one by one, obteining their rings and gaining power from that for some reason, that would explain why he is so powerfull and Wangnan so useless.

 

Really bad story telling from SIU's part. Neither Yuri nor Evan noticed Karaka's ring or Wangnan ring. Also Karaka didn't notice Wangnan ring or at least feel something when he saw him with his own eyes during Jinsung and Hwa visit back then at the 20 something floor. He decided to omit all this events instead of trying to give a good explanation.

 

Edit: Karaka and Hoaqin in the same Train with Baam and without a ranker to support him? Or might Yuri have eneterd too even though she is not seen in the panel? Also a shame to not confirm Karaka's genre.
