Jin

Despite the weird looking monsters pointy stabby thing, it was no match for the rock and Jin's teeth as the three of them vanquished the beast. With the monster now dead, it was food time. As the other tore off their pieces, Jin tore off the arm and began chewing on it. Seeing the slimy green plant he threw at the monster, the ones he managed to tear off, he placed it on the arm as a kind of seasoning and resumed biting into the arm. "Better." he grunted as he wolfed down the arm before making his move on the other one.

As they finished off the monster, Jin decided to go through the monster's things. Finding them strange, Jin put on the monsters leggings and was surprised with how well they fit. Grabbing the pointy thing and shoving them in one of the pockets, he was surprised again. No more sticking it in loin cloth and them coming off all smelly, nice! As he continued looking, he also found a strange bag. Though, obviously he wouldn't know what it was so he opened it up and put his hand inside. Looking back at the corpse, then at the back, he had an idea. Tearing off some of the monsters remains, he immediately stuffed it in the bag.

Once they finished eating, Patch turned around and spoke in a strange way. As an awkward silence passed, Jin also responded in a strange way. "Yeah, I'm game." Despite talking in a strange manner like it was natural, Jin was unfazed. With breakfest done, it was time to move on to the next course. Slinging the bag over his shoulder as if he done it before, he followed after patch.

Patch, Jin, and Mu

With experience, better equipment, and an actaul vocabulary on their sides, the trio of Patch, Jin and Mu went on their way in search of tastier creatures. A goblin’s day was never done. Although they just finished their first meal of the day, given the position of the sun, it was almost noon. Sooner or later, if not already, their instincts would tell them that it was time for another meal.

Continuing to roam throughout the seashore, they had noticed that sand and stone soon turned into plants and trees, and in front of them, was a large lagoon. However, what took their attention was not the scenery, but the creatures that were within the shallow body of water. Running about and playing, it seemed that these Kelpie Calves had wandered away from their herd.

The Lone yet Courageous Rei

The Azure Crab remained calm and simply stared at Rei. However, the moment the goblin started making noise, it started to lose its composure. It was merely quenching its curiosity and thought that getting closer to Rei, to get a better view of her, would be a good idea. Sadly, it was proven wrong as the goblin started to circle the Azure Crab. Its instincts had kicked in and was telling her that it was now being hunted. It was kill or be killed and the crab had no plans of dying just yet. With claws agape, it readied itself for combat, but it appeared that she was at a disadvantage. Although it boasted its defensive capabilities, its speed was rather lacking and Rei made that incredibly obvious. A series of rapid movements followed by one swift jump had brought Rei atop the Azure Crab. It couldn't reach the goblin with its claws, so was this game over? Was this Rei victory? Certainly not. At least, for now.  The Azure Crab wouldn't give up without a fight. Given the predicament that it was in, the crab had suddenly tucked in all its appendages and withdrew its eyes back into its shell. It looked like it had a plan to get Rei off of it. Now akin to more of a pseudospherical rock, it tossed its entire body forward, landing on its back. Well, technically landing on Rei. The goblin cushioned its fall at the crab simply continued rolling before getting back on its legs.

The Azure Crab looked as if it lacked in intelligence, but at this moment, Rei realized that she couldn't judge a crustacean by its carapace. If she wanted to deal with it, she had to be more serious. Aside from Rei's aching body from the attack it had received, they were bsically back at square one.

Patch

Patch was delighted to see the Lagoon. Mostly because it brought with it that all important and delightful treat, food. Food in the form of a new monster. A new weird, walking-on-it's-hands-and-feet monster. With a strange face. And it's hair looked a bit like that green stuff Patch had tried to eat a while ago. That was good news. Very good news. If it grew food from it's food, then it's food must be good food. Very good food indeed. The prospect of such good food got Patch incredibly excited. So excited in fact that he went rushing in screami-

Wait.

No.

That didn't work last time, did it? No. Patch was a smart little idiot and he knew he did wrong last time. He'd gotten a kick in the chest. And that means you messed up. When you get kicked in the chest something definitely went wrong. So he stood quietly. And stared at the monster intently. "Run and big noise get us kick." Patch said, quiet and serious in Goblin to his fellow hunters gesturing at his chest. He shook his head. "No good." He had now taught them everything he knew. Literally everything. And he wasn't sure how to go on from there. He knew that fast and loud was bad. But not how else he could go about things. But if fast and loud was the only way he knew, and it was bad, he was going to have to do better, be better. He needed to become the ultimate hunter. And he was the exact opposite of that right now. He pondered a moment longer before it hit him. The exact opposite!

He grinned a shark-like grin at the other two. "We go slow. All shh. No big voice. No run. Sneaky around. Then get foood." He was nodding excitedly. He had planned a plan. And a very planny plan it was for such a man to plan. But he'd planned it. And it might work. Only time would tell. He just hoped the other two would follow his lead. His crazy new ideas were crazy to himself and he'd thought of them, he felt like he must sound truly insane to other goblins.

Mu

In her limited experience, which was very little Patch was the smartest goblin that Mu had met. She could understand each word rather clearly as he laid out his detailed plan to get even more food. Between little slurps of saliva Mu went over the plan in her head.

They had to be sneakity sneakity sneak and attack the strange looking monsters with grass on their heads. The fact that they walked on both hands and legs was rather interesting but what was even more interesting was their heavy bellies that looked delicious. Mu could hardly control the drool which felt of her chin onto her loincloth.

She was good with wall throwing, this was confirm by their hunt for not goblin but how much she could throw could not be tested. With six of them here, it was possible for her to throw a few more stones to know her strength. Mu griped tightly on to the bloody stone that she had smashed against the not goblin's face. Accoriding to Patch's plan they had to sneak closer to the strange monster. She crouched and crawled along the foliage as she slowly inched closer to the creature waiting for Jin to make his move.

\\ Rei

"Oof..!" young Rei grunted in pain as the walky-rock-thingy lurched her to the ground, and smashed her square on her chest. Rude! That thing is rude! Not only did it hurt a lady, it cheated on the small game of being eaten by Rei! You see, the rock is supposed to be Rei's food. And a food's job is to be eaten. Anything aside from that is foul play! Foul play I tell you! Not to mention, it did not tell Rei that it could hide its legs and stalk-ey eyes inside its rock-like body!

"Now I'm angry!" she declared as she rose onto her feet. Her eyes mean business. No more games now, buddy!

Seemingly not learning from her past experience, Rei once again circled the walky-rock-thingy. This time, however, she didn't aim for the top of the rock's body. Instead, she aimed low, at the things' pesky legs that had caused her many sufferings. Should she be able to grab them before the rock-thingy get to hide them, she's planning to tear those walky sticks away. How, you ask? With the very same principle the rock-thing used to throw Rei away, that is! She'd grab those legs firm, get her legs onto the rock's main body, and jump away with the legs still firmly in grasp, of course!

After all, an eye for an eye, yeah?

Jin

With his knapsack and the fact that he's the only one among them wearing pants, he was clearly more presentable then the others. As the the group scoured the seashore for their next meal until they spotted their next target. Like the last one, these ones were also strange and quite ugly. Jin wasn't sure who was uglier Patch and Mu or the monsters. Right around now would be when Patch would get over excited and charge right in, surprisingly enough, he didn't this time. Though, from what it looked like to Jin, it kind of looked like he wanted to, though. It was then Patch grew serious and gave some advice, recounting what happened in the last bout with that strange tall looking monster. Jin nodded in approval, given how true it was. Then Patch shared his 'plan' as Jin listened until he finished.

Patch coming up with a plan is all good and well, but Patch is ugly and stupid. Jin figured Patch would probably end up doing something stupid befitting of his face again, so when Patch went on and Mu followed, Jin decided to go slow and sneaky in another way. Moving closer to the shore, Jin decided to sneak up on the ugly monsters via the lagoon. His thought was that when he got close enough, he would use the leftover meat from their last hunt as bait to distract them, and when they were focused on the meat, STAB! And well, if it also helped the others, well, that was good as well. Tying the bag around his neck, he took the knife in his hand and started swimming silently towards the monsters.
