I believe in the LN after the girls let the demon go, the guy gives an excuse to sneak away, and "tests out his new blade" by beheading her, and doesn't tell anyone. I haven't read it in a while so I may be wrong. You can see where they replaced that scene with the "invisible assassin" popping up.

 

The fact that he didn't kill her means that there's a chance of a reappearance, but considering that her companion was killed its unlikely it will be friendly.

Edit: Okay I found a place that has the LN Raws and she apparently seems to have survived since she appears later on again.
