Yes, that's what I have been doing. Also Variety shows and listening to current K-pop.still only got most of the hangul in. the words are... foreign to my ears, still

The modern vernacular is spoken well and I like their dramas and movies mostly but not all.

Watch K-drama. Never the Hangul. It would take loads of time and concentration. That would be a feat indeed.do what? want to watch k-drama or figured out the hangul code?
I've got a pre-dereliction to foreign languages but I'm only discerning the backbone of some languages. I would have to live in a certain country to master it for sure.
You may be more talented than I am and master it without having lived here.

Yeah, I'm hanging about and listening intently as I peruse this city and actively using what I have learned but its just too much to take in at once.

Oh really? Well, you just have to be selective about the food. They are usually good at revealing which has shell fish sauce or a derivative of. Some Koreans have the same allergies too.so sad that i'm allergic to shellfish, i could only eat 1/3 of a seafood dish. maybe not even that
but the spicy sounds good
