I've been noticing some odd facial expressions from JIJI and part of me has this feeling he isn't really an ally, but an enemy.

This also could have something to do with the fact that KIKI was replaced by a blue nitro, while guiding Toriko and the others all the way to the mountain, and beyond, teaching them about the BB Pill Bugs, etc, until it decided to attack Komatsu.  It was also odd, because KIKI appeared out of nowhere after that...

So I'm curious if anyone is suspicious of JIJI like I am?  It doesn't have to do with that it happened once, more like his character is shady.  He's been helpful, but at the same time he's made comments, or insinuated that he might not be the ally they've been thinking he is.

Jiji is dead, by the way. Jiji was the "Gold Chef" that got eaten by Neo a few chapters back.

Kaka, and yes, it's not kiki lala, was easily accepted by the four as genuine after the fake one got sent off my Bambina. They were suspicious of the fake right away.

You're thinking of ChiChi right now. I don't see him doing anything particularly suspicious, and so far none of them(though I suspect they haven't notice he's there what with Neo and Blue Nitros around) have raised an alarm.

Which part in particular makes him suspicious anyway?

I'm talking about the Hairy JIJI.

He always had this look, and since Kaka(my mistake) was already a fake, how do we know Jiji Wasn't?

Maybe it was just the MAngaka trying to fool us, but Evey time JIJI had this look on his face like he was up to something.

AT the end, which happened after I posted this, Jiji told them how to prepare God.

It seems that JIJI was a good guy after all.

Whoops. :P

And I keep telling people to look at post dates. Shame on me. :v

We know Kaka(fake) was suspicious because of how secretive Toriko and the gang was towards her. They never showed the same suspicion towards Jiji. None of them ever showed anything like a glance backwards or hiding from Jiji. The mangaka isn't exactly subtle when it comes to traitors/suspicious people. Kousairou, Zaus, Kaka. All of them had these moments of silence where suspicion is directed at them by a glance or actions taken not long after by the other party(Ichiryuu approaching Kuriboh after talking to Kousairou, Setsuno commenting on Zaus' scar. Glances from Toriko and co towards Kaka whenever they're alone). Only exception is when Neo showed up at the grand cooking tournament, but that's mostly people who don't have that much impact in the story or having anything to do with the four Devas.
