Howdy! I'm a big fan of Boku Girl, and found a cover for issue 84 (untranslated of course). I cleaned it up, redrew parts (hair and stuff) and wanted to share the result. If you like Loki, here she is in some of her glory. I've included the original, the fully 'cleaned' one, and the final cover. It's not perfect, but at least it looks nice.

Thanks! I don't like it when they cover the art with word blurbs... the artist went to all the trouble to create it in the first place, so why cover it? There's lots of space around it, they should use that, like I did.

Might be the marketing people doing that. Seems like something they would do.

Ha... more than likely. It ups the chance they'd be contacted for a clean image at any rate. I think it would make people go online to try and find one, anyways. Heck, even I tried to find different and better versions.

I got a good picture of 94's cover, and cleaned it. I also redrew a bit of it... the hair, fixed the sneakers so they matched, added the rest of her fingernails, and adjusted her right eye a bit so it wasn't so slanted... and colored in the denim. Hope you like it.

I did a slight redraw (Fujuwara's leg was covered by the logo) and cleaning for the 89 cover. After re-doing it twice, I'm happy with it now... I think. LOL Anyways, here it is.

Well, here's another one for you. Color this time! It's the cover to issue 91. I had quite a time rebuilding the parts covered by the writing. Anyways, here it is.

I've been on a bit of a roll, lately. I've got another redone cover for you... this one, Loki from Issue 75, is pretty much a complete redraw. I would give you a list of what I changed or altered, but there is almost nothing that I didn't change or alter. LOL I drew a line over every line that I kept from the old picture. This took about a week of me picking at it in my spare time. Anyways, here you go. I hope you like it. I'm including the old one as well, so you can compare them.

A slightly redone cover for Issue 93. Only had to redo the right elbow, a bit of ponytail, and the cape.

This isn't actually a cover, but it could have been! So, I'm including it. 

 

It took a while to do - I've been picking at it for weeks. I really liked the final page in issue 71, where Mizuki wore the girl's school uniform for the first time... and wanted to do a clean version. So, I redrew everything and colored/shaded in the appropriate parts, and this is the result. I'm including the original (so you can see what I was dealing with), the finished product, a coloring page (for those that want it to color), and one with just the lines. I hope you like it. I do. It turned out great!

Well, here's the latest cover I've done. It's for issue 100. I did a bit of redrawing, and colorized it. I figured, it's the 100th issue, it needs something special.

I mean, they did a color one for 98, why not 100?

Anyways, here it is.
