So I just realized I made a mistake with the timeline of the flashbacks. Baam received his new name before reiciving the ultimatum about his friends. Ha Jinsung asked him if he wanted to become a god (receive the Fake Thorn) literally right after he learned the Flare Wave Explosion (like that name better). May revise the chapters later.
