- The Non-sensical Adventures of Artur Ila & Co. -

The walls looked the same as usual, there was no breaks to the continuity that is this hallway. It was rather boring, with the only rush of adventures was when the two both fell down the rabbit hole and unto the second floor. Artur continued to examine the surroundings hoping that he would see something different from this bland scenery. Either there was nothing noticeable about these hallways or he is suffering from severe tunnel vision. Artur's unnamed companion was picking at his ear for sometime and it made Artur feel slightly off. Is there something irritating his ear? Did something get inside his ear during the fall? There was plenty of questions to be asked when he looked. The both of them felt a tad bit tense knowing that there are going to be stronger monsters on this floor and they are very unprepared for it. Deep breath in, and a deep breath out... the tension inside Artur slightly subsided.

His partner stopped walking for a moment and closed his eyes. Giving a deep breath in, it looked like he was also trying to keep himself calm and collected. Taking his sword, he twirled it fashionably around in a circle before skillfully slamming it inside his scabbard. This startled and amazed Artur for a moment, knowing that was pretty awesome of him. Then his partner opened his eyes and continued walking. Artur noticed that he fumbled a bit at the beginning, but shrugged that off. His partner turned his head around and glanced at Artur while digging into his ear once again.

"Dude," Artur spoke up, "is something wrong with your ear?"

That was when the stench of the room hit him. It was foul, it was putrid. Artur didn't even know what kind of scent it was, all he knew that it was horrifyingly bad.

"OH GO-"

"Ugh! Man what is that smell?" His partner asked.

"I'd be damned if I knew!" Artur replied while gagging a bit.

The two, reluctantly, walked forward. There was no going back now, it would be too tedious and dangerous to go back where they have came from. They walked up to an entrance to a large, dark cavernous room which the floor was covered some viscous and sticky fluid that hasn't even dried up yet. It was worse than an average teenage boy's room. The whole room was damp and silent, and it had this strange atmosphere that unsettled Artur. Meanwhile, he still couldn't pinpoint what kind of horrible smell it was, but it definitely smelled worse than rotting pie smear across a dead old person... if he even knew what a dead old person would've smelt like.

Suddenly, there was a strangle "tacking" noise behind Artur's ear. Like his partner, he started digging into his ear to find what the hell is making that annoying noise. It grew louder and louder until Artur turned around to see this horrifying skeletal-looking white creature that is the abomination of all things- a spider. This spider probably was behind them the whole time, and maybe Artur's partner could've been hearing this bugger for the longest time. It was pretty small, and knowing spiders and their hellish properties, there are probably more.

"It had to be spiders!" Artur grimaced when he looked at it. "Skeletal spiders!"

The nameless companion turned around at Artur and said while getting closer towards the ivory hellspawn,

"Since you took care of the dead-end, it looks it it's my turn. But if I look like I'm about to get me ass kicked, feel free to step in like a hero."

"Man, don't you have a sense of teamwork? Fine."

Artur took out his glaive in preparation if his friend is going to get his ass kicked. If he even showed a little amount of struggle, he was going to get in the fight.

His partner walked straight towards the spider with the hilt of his sword at hand. He looked pretty calm at the moment and with a sudden movement, he sprang forward while drawing his sword at the creature.

Thoth Familia, Selene Familia, Baron Samedi Familia

Not bothering to wait for any kind of response, Matthias decided to move on and simply drag Desna and Eddie along for the ride. Matthias walked smooth and cool down the stairs to the sound of awesome music and receding laughter, not once did he look to the corridor of giggles again. Desna and Eddie scampered along behind him like some sort of non-posting idiots who are now being NPC'd into retardation. They even scuffed the tops of their shoes on the steps with their weird mindless walking, I have no idea how you even do such a thing, how does it happen?
Anyway, a small parade of skeletons followed behind them.

Arriving on floor 2, the group was faced with another choice, to turn left, or to turn right? They were spared from the choice when they realized that the left turning was actually just a painting on the wall, some sort of joke probably. So they turned right.

Further down the corridor they entered a new room. Inside was something unexpectedly cute. A rabbit. A rather large rabbit, not too large mind you, it wasn't as tall as the room or anything, just a large rabbit.
It had fuzzy paws and long whiskers, it had deep, soft, black fur and curious brown eyes that shone in the light. There was wisdom in those eyes, somehow. Made plainly evident when it talked. "There's is something strange about this room." It said in a soft, warm voice. "What is it?" To some the strangeness within the room would be bright as day. To others the question would reveal nothing but their idiocy. Only time would tell which of the group belonged in which of the groups.

Reuben Stein

"Darn, this is not working," Reuben thought to himself. With his most recent bout resulting in nothing but reduced stress level and slight sore on his fists, it seemed that it's time for him to think of a new course of action.

His first thought was to join the fight against the headless bone warrior. Though, seeing that there're already two people engaging the dude, adding another fighter to the calculation would seem to be inefficient. Y'know, reduced moving space, conflicting actions, etc. Anyway, it was a complete waste and therefore Reub was forced to think of something else.

Thankfully, his brain is not as dead as his un-beating heart, and he quickly came up with a plan. While the headless warrior is busy boning about with the vixen and the aging gentleman, Reub carefully pluck out one of the skull from the wall. Once he did just that, he waved at the headless dude.

"Oy, headless!" he shouted. "Catch this!" he continued as he lobbed the pristine skull at the group of three.

Here's hoping that it'll do something.

Seth Familia, Nyx Familia

Progressing on through the dungeon Ukufa and Evander, having become better acquainted, were surely ready to get out there and kick some ass as a team. So they headed on down the corridors, which were very much just more of the same carved rock walls, and eventually the found their way to a room. A strange room. Perhaps room isn't the right word. It was more like a slightly wider corridor but... broken. Like someone had added bits of space, seemingly at random, to the long room. There were holes in the walls that seemed to wind their way around, going up and down, left and right, even over the ceiling. It looked, in fact, like something had carved itself a path through the walls rather than moving down the corridor, and it had done so many times. As a result the room had grown weirdly outwards in uneven ways. All made up of jagged trails and scored walls.

As though it wanted to make sure it didn't leave any mysteries behind, the creature decided to make an appearance for the pair of adventurers just so as there was no confusion. A long, wide and powerful worm-type thing dove out the wall on the left and straight into the wall on the right. But though it could be compared to a worm, this thing was not all that much like one when you actually saw it. Normal worms don't have those rows of sharp, serrated teeth inside a gaping maw of death it calls a mouth. Real worms don't have skin that looked as tough as leather. And most telling of all was that a true worm wouldn't make that noise. That deep, dark, hollow of a noise. No, this wasn't anything like a worm really. This was a monstrosity. And it came tearing out the wall once more, headed straight for Evander.

Hades Familia, Dagda Familia

Dorian's blade swished through the air with blinding quickness. Literally. The edge of his blade whipped down and slashed the spider across the eyes before it could move. Either it was particularly stupid or Dorian was faster than this thing. A thought that would probably make him significantly happier to know. Provided it were true.

Whether the thing died from the slash or not was hard to tell from both Artur and Dorian's angles. It's legs certainly twitched, making it seem to not be fully demised, but it didn't appear to be aggressively attacking. It was very odd. And there was a slow moment of silence that seemed to permeate the room, a curious moment within the skipping of a heartbeat as they wondered if they were safe now. The cautious calm before the storm. The creature suddenly burst into motion. It's pale fangs clattering together in a kind of rhythm as it jerked free of Dorians' blade with a surprising strength. The creature darted up the wall above the entrance and was lost to the darkness. The click-clacking teeth-gnashing cacophony of it's sound rippled through the large room, echoing off the unseen walls. And then it was picked up by others. And it spread. The call to arms received.

Like the swarming of flies around a corpse, the clicking was suddenly coming from all directions. Above, behind, to the sides and even, it felt, from the paranoid minds of those who heard it. The noise got louder and closer, click clacking it's way towards the two adventurers. Ahead of the wave of noise, another two spiders emerged from the darkness nearer the center of the room and approached the pair. They pounced. Two bundles of sharp teeth and hard limbs flew towards the young adventurers...

Evander ran through the unit's supplies and expected exploration time. It seemed as if both were grossly unprepared for any lengthy spelunking. Logically, the two would be able to reach a threshold of the second floor or so, but that was stretching it. Ukufa appeared to be unbothered by this fact though, everything about her personality was enthusiastic on being reckless and taking the challenges of the dungeon on regardless of skill or supplies. Evander would have found the notion sexy if he wasn't worried sick about the girl. He couldn't just leave her when he became too weary of the dungeon. He was only a noob! He knew what his limits were.

Wait...he was bitching...did his fore-bearers bitch? Evander was rather certain that they gave no fucks no matter what their situation was. Whether they were exhausted, starving, or dying, if the party they were in wanted to go deeper into the dungeon, then so be it. The sacrifices and history of the fore-bearers weighed heavily onto Evander's shoulders. Yes, it was a 50/50 split between the sensible (Evander) and the courageous (Ukufa), so there was no "majority" to command the Nyx Familia's agents here...but he could not leave Ukufa alone. She wasn't a princess who needed rescuing, but it was better to be safe than sorry. Maybe he could convince her otherwise, later though. Their journey had only just begun!

Master Montana's criteria for Evander's trial was vague, in fact Evander wasn't even sure what he needed to do after he'd gotten into a party. He assumed it was go as far as he could on the first day. Then come back and tell Master Montana all about it. Ukufa's ears twitched, which fascinated Evander for a moment. When the duo entered the deformed chamber, Evander immediately unsheathed his khopesh and stood by the doorway. He did not know what Ukufa was up to, as his eyes were focused on all of the holes and scars on the room's surfaces. This was certainly ominous.

"Huh, what do you think made these ho-?"

Dust and debris blasted out from the packed stone and earth of the wall, and the worm made its appearance. Evander woah'ed and instantly hunched down, staring at the huge hole the worm had left in the wall it had easily bore into. Evander could only feel a brief moment of tension and horror before the worm reappeared. He stared straight at its enormous, circular maw. The teeth looked mean, and the distance was closing fast. Evander placed his hand onto the floor, and then leaped into the to perform a jump. His legs kicked up above the worm, which missed his firm buttocks by an inch. His cloak flapped behind him as the worm's head was snagged by it. Evander felt his cloak rip off from his body, but he smoothly slipped his way out from it and landed onto the worm's back. He did not know where it was going, but he raised his khopesh and stabbed it down to the worm's body, clutching at his cloak like a horse-man to his reins.

Perhaps this is what the girls meant by a 'guy acting cute', thought Ukufa as they ambled deeper into the dungeon.

She couldn't help but smile a little at the concern that her existence had caused the Nyx familia assassin. Her life had be rather dull up to this point, the constant nagging by her patron god and her own burning desires had kept the maiden away from such instances of care and concern. That her life was worth saving, a thought she didn't believe in herself was upheld by a complete stranger. They walked on quietly into the clearing. For a dungeon this place was awfully bare with almost nothing left to grind her axe on.

How was she to get strong if those before her licked the whole plate clean. Perhaps she'd try coming in here at night, surely lesser number of adventurers would trudge through at that hour. Her ears flicked as she caught a sound underground and a moment later a large worm rifled its way through a nearby column. Not a good looking beast for sure, well atleast she won't have a reason to be sorry for its life then. As one of them came around a nearby column leaping straight for Evander who stood ready for such an outcome.

Like a cat he jumped and rolled,  barely avoiding the worm as its cape covered its maw. The flesh train was closing in on Ukufa and at that moment she remembered a jab from Seth and held her axe tightly with both hands.

'Two hands, twice the power!, not that you'll ever hit me.' he had said. With fully coiled body she w\swung with her might, hoping to at least knock some teeth out of the dreadful maw that closed on her.

- The Non-sensical Adventures of Artur Ila & Co. -

"OH GOD, THERE ARE NOW TWO?Artur whelped when two more came after the two adventurers after the first spider escaped its own death.

The two spiders leaped towards Artur and his friend, who both are already armed and ready. As one of the spiders attempted to attack Artur, he responded quickly and sliced it mid-jump. There was only a small glimpse of the tiny cute deadly fangs that would've punctured his skin. He looked around to see his companion having his own way of dealing with those tiny little buggers. The is a very high chance that there will be more coming this way. Perhaps that they will grow exponentially and then they will to deal with four, then sixteen, and then the spidery hands of death. There was no chance in Dagda's pun-geon, that Artur wants to die in the hard, bony limbs of these little demons.

"We gotta get out of here. Who knows, the more we kill, the more come in exponentially. That means we will be exponentially boned by skeletal spiders."

He looks towards his nameless friend with a clearly agitated look. Artur really hates spiders.

"I trust you, and I do not know where to go, so you call the shots. Where should we run?"

Plitzintecuhtli Familia

The Plitzintecuhtli bros, having dealt with the slime quite magnificently, moved onward towards more adventure. They passed empty rooms, barren corridors, and generally just waded their way through a whole lot of no fun for a while. Somehow, the dungeon was being... boring. Like it wasn't a place full of monsters and terror and magical awesomes. Luckily it seemed to remember what the hell it was supposed to be.

It wasn't too much longer before Svend, with his mighty owl eyes, caught sight of something in the darkness up ahead. What was that? A shadow in the darkness? A swishing black cloak? The outline of a man, holding still against the pitch black walls? Was it a demon? A shadow monster? Another slime?

It was none of these.

Instead the form revealed itself to be a curled up dog of some kind. It looked hurt and sad, and was making a wheezing noise. A kind of... Keh, heh, Uehh. noise... Being brave and mighty adventurers the pair approached the wounded creature. Or at least, they got close enough to make it out better.

It's fur was dark, more of a brown than a black, but with vague patches of darkness that rippled in the shadows. It's eyes were a deep orange and piercingly sharp. It's teeth were a bright white tear in the darkness as it opened it's mouth and got to it's feet. Still wheezing out its odd noises, looking almost like a cat with a fur ball. Except this thing wasn't trying to cough something out. This thing was trying to keep something back. And as two more of the wolf type animals crawled from the shadows behind it, it finally stopped holding back whatever it was... And it laughed. "Keh, heh, heh, hehh!" The two behind soon took up the laughter. And the first one pounced forward with a giggle.

The Giggle-Dog was going right for Svend's ankle with a savage bite.

Seth Familia, Nyx Familia

Evander deftly avoided the worm's opening move. Leaping into the air and landing atop the creature he slammed his sword down with a piercing stab. But the skin was even tougher than he thought, and his angle wasn't quite right, the blade sliced a thin gash down the side of the beast as it slid off to the side instead of piercing straight down. If the beast survived it would have a new scar to join the massive jumble of thin lines that marked it's body. But it wasn't exactly a vital wound.

Ukufa tried a different tactic. Facing the large creature down in a head on axe collision. So she swung her axe with in a mighty two handed blow, taking the worm straight in the face with it's blade. The blade cleaved its way into the... lips? Of the creature. Sinking about halfway down the blade into the flesh that bordered the gaping maw of sharp, hungry teeth. But now what would she do? The creature didn't seem to die from such an attack, nor did it seem all that inconvenienced by it to be honest. It just exuded a horrific stench and a wheeze of warm air directly into Ukufas' face and pushed against her. She was strong, but so was this creature. It pushed, and squirmed, and writhed and slid her back, bit by bit, until she was up against the wall. Caught between jagged rocks and the stone shredding teeth with only her axe and he muscles to keep either on from tearing her apart. It continued to push against her, and the sharp stones behind her were beginning to hurt.

Hel Familia, Inari Familia, Dionysus Familia and Kuebiko Familia

As the large skeleton swung it's heavy blade towards Go'on with a powerful swing, Tama stepped in to save the day. With a swift and vicious upswing she cleaved his forearm in two. The mighty mace, now swung only by physics, tumbled downwards in a half-assed attempt at it's previous trajectory. The skeletal fist still clutched it as the mace fell into Go'ons' chest. It was nowhere near as dangerous as it had been, but the old man was knocked to the floor.

The headless skeleton turned to Tama quickly and brought up it's hand as through to stab through her with his bony fingers. His hand rushed forwards like a spear and-

"Oy, headless!" Reuben shouted. "Catch this!"

The monster turned it's shoulders as if to look in Reubens' direction. And 'Catch this,' it did. A large skeletal palm covered with scraps of leather reached up and plucked the skull from the air.

It placed the skull upon it's neck and the tiny blue flames inside burst into life. The skeleton turned it's flame eyes to Tama and, somehow, gave the impression that it was smiling now. "Your friend isn't very smart is he?" The creature seemed to say, speaking directly into the minds of those around him with a hollow, echoing voice. "Maybe his brain has rotted. Much better to go without one. Here. I'll show you." A large skeletal hand reached out to grasp Tamas head, and began to squeeze.

Evander silently groaned at the misfortunate deflection of his attack. This worm's skin was definitely super-tough, just how strong were these monsters supposed to be on such early levels of the dungeon?! Evander recovered from his failed attack and slid down the side of the worm's serpent-like, wildly shaking body. He also forced his cloak away from the worm's mouth, shredding the very hem of it. Holding his cloak, Evander dropped it towards the floor and ran towards Ukufa. Apparently she getting kiss-raped by this gross thing!

Just as he began his approach, Evander decided to dual-wield his Khopesh and stab it into the worm's body. He would then run alongside the worm, hoping to cut deeper into its skin. The worm gave so much resistance against his arms, but being a physically superb young man Evander forced more pressure onto his blade and channeled his breathing as he sprinted alongside the creature's body.

The Marvelous Misadventures of Dorian & Friend

Dorian

Dorian pondered his companions question for a moment.

"Okay here's my idea, let's back up to the corridor and face the spiders, so that they can't get around use." Dorian was backing up while telling his plan. Glancing back over his shoulder to make sure there were no nasty surprises back there. "We'll use the doorway to force a bottle neck so that we won't have to face all the spiders at once, just the ones that are in the doorway, then the ones after them, and after them, and after them, and after them, but eventually they'll all be dead, right?"

"I don't think running is a good idea, I mean did you see how fast that thing scurried up the wall? Imagine how fast it would be if it wasn't moving against gravity.", though he thought that he might be able to outrun the spiders, the chances of his teammate making it was practically zero, so this seemed their best course of action, at least in Dorian's mind.

If it ain`t broke... go back and rob it again.

Reuben Stein

I know what y'all think. Oh shit things are getting worse by the minutes. Reub is a wack. He's brain dead lel. The cute fox ladu will die and all this are because of the friggin' undead hobo, etc etc. Right? Well, maybe you're correct. But not entirely, I assure you. You see, what Reub did was a gamble. What's the gamble, you ask? It's the gamble that all undeads follow the common rule that all undeads under Hel shares: the fact that each and every one of them has a core that bound their soul to their earthly vessel. In Reub's case, as it is with many other undeads who retain their flesh, it's the heart. For the skeleton, however, it's mostly their skulls. Which is why Reub decided to bash lots and lots of them previously (aside from relieving his stress, that is).

Now that he knew that destroying them one by one did not seem to be affecting the skeleton in any visible way, the fastest course of action would be to pick a random skull and throw it at the skeleton. When that is done, there are 4 scenarios that he imagined would happen. 1) He's wrong entirely and the skeleton would ignore the skull, 2) He's right but he picked the wrong skull, thus the skeleton would not undergo any change, 3) He's right and he picked the right skull, thus the skeleton is complete, but now they can destroy the core, or 4) He's only partially right, and the skeleton only gets stronger without exposing any real weakness. Judging from everybody's reaction, the skeleton included, it seemed that the result of his gamble was number 3 or 4. Regardless, the next course of action should be clear.

"Alright vixen, it's time for you to shine!" Reub shouted as he also quickly dashed towards the now complete skeletal warrior. "Destroy his head before he squish yours!" he continued, all the while skidding on the floor, aiming to sweep the skeleton off his feet.
