Cards against Humanity + Kubera =

Gods against Humanity is essentially just the party game Cards against Humanity, but with Kubera-based cards. Of course, there are some general cards that we added and came up with. If you've ever played Apples to Apples, it's like that, but for horrible people. It's amazing.

 

How it works:

 

1. Head over to Pretend You're Xyzzy (an online CAH clone)

 

2. Create a new game

 

3. In the game chat, type /addcardcast WD39A updated: /addcardcast YC4QZ

 

4. Profit (the deck should be added, have fun )

 

We have around 150 calls and 500 responses-more than enough for everyone, and we're still adding more. Please post any ideas/awesome plays/comments/questions in this thread, I or someone else will try to add them ASAP

For everyone's information, a good way to find non-randos who want to play CAH is the #batoto channel on idlechat's irc server - click the "chat" button at the top of batoto (next to donate, widen the window if you can't see it). Usually, someone on there is down to play. (Often me. )

It took me a little while to figure this out, so for the sake of convenience Ashes, it would be nice if you edited in the link to the custom Cardcast site so others can see the full list of White/Black cards. This way it's easier to brainstorm ideas that aren't already in use, as well as for the curious ones of us that want to know what's already in the custom deck.

For future reference, white card ideas should be "tested" to see if they fit with a lot of the formats used in the black cards, and modified a bit if they do not. For example, the white card "Like a virgin touched for the very first time." makes more grammatical sense in most of the black cards if the word "Like" were removed. Same thing should be considered with black cards; if you're setting up the blank to be a noun, leave it open to the possibility of being singular and plural (i.e. don't include "a" or "an", leave that to the white card). Standardizing formats would make things easier when coming up with and incorporating ideas.
